Even though Lincoln Cinema is near by with lot better seating and bigger screen. This place still has its touch, many of the independent movies still gets shown here and less crowded here. more

Since changing hands, not much has changed at the Galleria. The seating is the same. The location is the same. With the introduction of the Lincoln Square Cinemas and its own parking structure hell, crowds are not as strong. In all, good, but nothing outstanding in today's cinema-friendly world. If you want to watch a movie AND feed a family of 12, though, I suggest you head to the Galleria and order the small popcorn, which in most theaters would be considered the value bucket. I made the mistake of not looking to see the sample-size display and ended up eating down only about 2" of the bucket. I then spent another half hour after the movie looking for a homeless person to which to pawn the rest of my endless popcorn. Takeaway: Homeless people don't live in Bellevue (or they're hiding them). Also, popcorn is plentiful with your movie at the Galleria. more

Formerly part of the Regal chain, the Bellevue Galleria is now a Hallett cinema. Unlike Regal, Hallett does not offer a rewards program. Parking in the Galleria is free for 4 1/2 hours, enough time to catch a show. Remember to get your parking stub validated when you purchase your ticket. If you're looking to catch dinner and a movie, there are two restaurants in the Galleria - Chaiyo, a Thai place on the third floor, and Taphouse on the ground level. The only bad thing about this theater is that its nearly 4 stories up so it takes some time if they're showing a highly anticipated film like Star Wars 3. So get there early if you plan on watching a popular film. Parking is expensive and limited to several hours. The quality of the seats and the large screens make this place a wonderful theater. Top quality. more

The galleria has great seating, tho I hate the parking situation -- the garage is a pain to navigate. And re an earlier review -- they do have a fandango line -- just go to the rightmost ticket window, skipping the massive non-fandango line. more

I like the Bellevue Galleria movie theaters. It's within walking distance to my house, it has great big theaters with stadium seating, comfy cupholders, and high backs to the chairs. But.... Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to go there Friday or Saturday night after 5pm. They have no express ticket machines, no fandango line, and the ticketing line usually wraps around the upper deck of the galleria mall. Most shows end up being sold out, and don't even think about trying to fight the line for concessions. The parking situation is equally bad if you're attempting to park there around that time of night. The galleria garage isn't very well organized, and there's a lot of back up and road rage with folks trying to enter and leave on weekends. But I highly recommend going on a nice Sunday morning and having a grand old time. more
