Dr. Kirkconnell is great! I went in today to get examined for contacts and glasses and he did a far superior exam to any I've had before. He is thorough, patient, candid, and objective. It's clear that he strives to give you the best care possible. \r \r His assistant is great, too; very friendly and had gone the extra mile to ensure that all of my insurance information was vetted between my scheduling and the actual appointment, even though I had only been able to provide incomplete information at the time.\r \r Highly recommend! more

My wife, daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Kirkconnell for about 4 years now, and we are all very glad to be his patients. His eye exams are the most thorough I've ever received, and I've been wearing glasses for 40+ years, and used to only go to opthamologists. The time Dr. K spends with you answering questions, asking questions and explaining what he's doing are indicative of the care and seriousness he devotes to each patient's need. His staff is also second to none in their friendliness, expertise and especially their patience in assisting you in picking out the right frame for your style and budget.\r \r more

Dr. Kirkconnell owns Bellevue Eyecare Center. Dr.Jessup owns Jessup Eye Care, a competitor. PLEASE DON'T BE CONFUSED by a wrong posting! All ours are positive. (The purpose of this message is that Bellevue Eyecare has NO Dr.Jessup--some of his reviews post here.) Bellevue Eyecare is in Suite 102 downstairs. Jessup Eyecare is in Suite 204 upstairs. Best eye exam, doctor and staff in Nashville! Excellent prices and selection of eyewear! 10/23/2008

I needed to go to have my eyes examined in a hurry and Bellevue Eyecare came to the rescue. They are centrally located so anyone can get there easily. They fit me right in and treated me with kindness and excellence. The staff was accomodating and wonderful and Dr. Kirkconnell is simply the best. It was a great experience all-around. They have great specials and deals and they take insurance, too. The selection of eyewear, eyeglasses and sunglasses are awesome. I am so happy with Bellevue Eyecare and plan on being a client for life! I will recommend them to all of my friends and family and associates. They are top-notch, without a doubt! Highly recommend, frindly & patient! 3/18/2008

Their assistant was very friendly and the doctor was PATIENT with me! One of the best eye exams I've ever had. I DEFINITELY SEE WELL with the glasses, & like the way I look. Even was given a FREE cloth & cleaner. No one does that anymore. I highly recommend them. Pros: Friendly & patient people more
