Gorgeous rooms and great food 9/9/2006

This is the best Vegas hotel. If you can afford it, you have to come. It is so luxurious. They have a really nice spa, pool, and even lobby area. Their buffet is the best on the strip (for lunch and dinner - for breakfast it is the Paris Hotel). All in all a very extravagant, fun, great hotel to visit or stay in. more

Penthouses at the Bellagio 6/28/2006

The Bellagio has several penthouses. I have stayed on the fountain side and on the other side. If you are there for a romantic stay, the fountain side is definitely a step in the right direction. Of course, the non-fountain views are breathtaking. So unless your love is beyond resuscitation, either will probably do nicely. Check in has been a breeze. There is a private check in area that expedites things a great deal. One one occasion I had to wait a bit. I was offered food and drink to help pass the time (about 15 minutes). The suites are massive with a full dining area, kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom and two full baths. One has a massive walk in shower and the other a beautifully large whirlpool tub. The accommodations in this bath put many salons to shame. Service at the Bellagio has always been perfect. I called down to see if they had a bit of fresh ginger for tea to settle an upset stomach. Within minutes they had fetched some from the kitchen and had it in the suite with hot water for tea. A business acquaintance wanted a soda that was not in the suite. I called down and within five minutes it was delivered. I suppose the way that I would summarize the experience at the Bellagio is "one with class". Not inexpensive, but definitely memorable. more

Such a beautiful hotel! 4/15/2006

While I have never stayed here, I have spent a lot of time here. The conservatory is beautiful, and is changed with every season. The fountains are amazing, and I love watching them, especially at nighttime. It's so romantic! The gallery of fine art is wonderful too. I have now seen 2 different exhibits, and was really impressed with both of them. Everything about this hotel is amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone. more

Will stay here next time I'm in Vegas 4/9/2006

We just adored the Bellagio. What can you say but WOW! Beautifully adorned and fabulous activities all around, it’s the place to be! The shops are magnificent, “O” by Cirque du Soliel was playing there and was out of this world, the restaurants serve scrumptious food, and the dancing water show is amazing! A++ in my book! more

Bellagio conservatory 4/8/2006

The Bellagio casino and hotel in Las Vegas has the most beautiful conservatory you've ever seen. They change the flowers to coincide with holidays. Easter is going to be beautiful, I have not gotten there to see it yet. Valentines day and Christmas were so preety with all the red flowers. They now have a tree that they got from Florida that died. It was very rare and the curator of the conservatory heard they were going to destroy it and wanted to save some of it. She brought it to the Bellagio and it is now on display. There is a wonderful cafe right by the conservatory so you can enjoy lunch while you gaze at the beautiful display of flowers. more

My room overlooked the dancing water show! 3/21/2006

I had the opportunity to stay at the Bellagio about a year ago. My room was on the 11th floor and it was a lake front room. It was so awesome to be able to look out the window and watch the dancing water show. If you tuned the TV to the hotel channel, it would play the music that was on during the show. Overall, I had a great experience staying at the Bellagio. My room was big, the bed was so comfortable--almost more comfortable than my own bed at home! And the bathroom was huge. There was a giant garden sized tub and a separate shower. The entire bathroom was marble. I hope I get to stay here again! It was great. more

Great if you van afford it 2/8/2006

This hotel left a bad tast in my mouth the first time I came to Vegas. It was because if you are not a guest or on your way to a restaurant, shildren are not allowed. that has to be against some kind of law. But if you have money, there will be a LOT of people to kiss your posterior. But if you are not dressed the part 24-7, you will get some looks. It' sslightly uncomfortable due to this, but if you can ignore it, it's a great place to be. Heated pool year round, great room amentities and all the extras that come regularly here that are extras elsewhere. more

Bellagio buffet the best 10/28/2005

Being a local Las Vegas restaurant we have so many great restaurants to choose from. We are now a city of many five star dining places among other great food. One of my favorites still is the Bellagio buffet. It is not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. The food is a variety that will fit every taste for anyone in your party. They have even had venizon and buffalo on the buffet. These are a vast difference from all the other buffets in Las Vegas. The buffet is a little costlier than the other buffets in Vegas, but for a special treat I would try it at least once on your trip. more

Pricey!!! 9/25/2005

Pricey but beautiful!!!! This is the last hotel I stayed at..and I was impressed by how awesome the bathrooms were! A large jacuzzi tub with mucho counter top space for all of my stuff. Nice! The casino itself was disappointing since its really expensive and geared towards people who like to be 25$ a hand on blackjack as their minimum bet. I might not stay there again...but I would go to walk the grounds again. more

Beautful and Ritzy 9/17/2005

This is probably the nicest hotel I've ever been to. It's rooms are beautiful and clean, and the location is fantastic. The buffet is also wonderful, with limitless amounts of great food it's easy to eat too much. It's a bit too to go very often, but great for a special occasion. more

Casino:good Rooms:bad 9/13/2005

I have been in only a handful of hotel rooms in Las vegas. Most of the newer ones:venetian are great, most of the cheap ones: Monte carlo:great but bellagio, which you would expect to be the best with all those tiffanys and chanel butiques is terrible. The room was tiny, with a small mirror on wall to make it look bigger (?), the view was pretty good, but the room was dark and, again, tiny! Thank god I was just visiting and didn't have to stay there. more

Marvelous 9/11/2005

I recently stayed at the Bellagio for a few nights with my wife. We booked a deluxe room directly through the Bellagio website at $159/night. Our deluxe room was on the 7th floor and overlooked the pool area. The pool area is very nice, but the water is extremely cold. There were plenty of chairs and different pools. It never seemed overly crowded. Our room itself was very nicely appointed with an EXTREMELY soft king sized bed, desk and two chairs, bathrobes, and the best drapery system I have ever seen in any hotel. The drapes are on a switch system. Next to the bed, on the wall, is a switch which allows you to open and close the drapes and/or sheers with the push of a button. The bathroom had a nice sized tub, separate glassed in shower, and granite counter top sink. There was also a scale. My only wish is that the hotel would have provided some bubble bath. I had to use some shampoo to put bubbles in the bath. The service we received was great. Check-in was quick and easy. We both forgot our toothbrushes and the housekeeping staff was quick to bring us two toothbrushes and some toothpaste within 5 minutes of my call. Housekeeping does come around early, as I heard from other guests. Luckily we had the privacy sign on the door so we were not disturbed. At night housekeeping will come in to turn down your bed and leave you with some chocolates. more

Loved It 9/4/2005

The rooms are not cramped. I love the automatic drapes and the bathrooms. Security checks everyone's room key to get to the elevators. The restaurants are incredible - I have never had a bad meal at the Bellagio - even at the Cafe, the food is delicious. There's a new place by the Spa tower that is yummy but I can't remember the name. The flowers are amazing in their garden. I love the colorful glass butterflies in the lobby ceiling. The upscale retail stores are great for window shopping. The connection to Ceasar's makes it easy to continue walking for even more shopping next door... more

Hotel with HIGH Production Values 9/2/2005

Going to Las Vegas is sort of like going to a Dave Matthews Band concert. While the stage show may be great, the audience "show" is not to be missed (To be clear: I am a fan of both). Even if you are a gambler, which you absolutely do not have to be to enjoy Sin City, there is no point to going to Las Vegas if you are not going to take in the "show." Staying on the strip is a great call. So, I have to say, the Bellagio is the hotel on the strip with the highest production values. It is a complete escape from reality. I have enjoyed my time there because it is opulent and way over the top without being too theme-park (Hard Rock, Paris, New York, New York, Treasure Island, Venetian). Bellagio is spendy. An effective end-run is staying at the Monte Carlo (next door to Bellagio) riding the tram over the Bellagio to enjoy all the dining and entertainment and gaming and shopping options available. The tram runs between the Bellagio and Monte Carlo, 24 hours a day. Trains leave every 10 minutes. THE NOT-TO-BE-MISSED (and how could you?)Attraction is the Fountain of Bellagio...It packs all the punch of Fourth of July Fireworks and the Disneyland Electrical Parade combined! Read all about it http://www.bellagio.com/pages/frameset_noflash.asp Note on Scale or First Time Users: You know that warning on rear view car mirrors that reads, "Objects are closer than they appear" ? Well, something like that applies to Las Vegas and it has to do with the enormous scale of these hotels. "Objects are farther away than they appear." I clocked it once. From my room at the Monte Carlo to Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris Casino (across the street) was over half a mile. more

oooh Ahhhh 8/29/2005

oooh Ahhhh -- okay okay, soo I've never stayed here,; I cann't justify spending $500 on a room and hopefully will never be able to, but this place is something to see. The water show out froont is funn and a good place to coool off during the summertime, the casion is the most elegant in all of vegas, the restaurants are sublime, and even the buffet is haute cuisine. If you have $100 to shell out for their Cirque Du Soleil show, O, it's woorth the price , well woorth it. In fact I think if you do onnly 1 thing in Vegas, this is it. more

water fountain dance 8/21/2005

Bellagio has a quiet fountain that acts as a mirror in the earlier morning. However, start in the afternoon each water element starts to be very active and busy preparing for the night show. As the night sky drops, we, the visitors become this water jets’ best audiences. It is a place that cameras or recorders cannot do much work because of the panoramic view. more

Watch the dancing fountains 8/21/2005

This is one of the top attractions in Las Vegas, and it's free! Every weekday, the fountain shows start at 3pm and on weekends they start at noon. In the evenings, the shows come on once every 15 minutes and could last as long as 10 minutes. Basically, they have water jets sprouting from the quarter mile fountain they have, cleverly orchestrated to some music. The crowds are big, but it's really worth seeing. At night, they have lights shining on the water, so water, lights, and music really make a nice combination. Go see it. more

Wonderful hotel and casino! 8/18/2005

The Bellagio has so much to offer. They have a beautiful garden room which is decorated for different holidays and seasons. They have tons of flowers in all sorts of arrangements. The hotel also offers a fine art gallery. The best show on the strip is also located in the Bellagio. The Cirque de Soleil show "O" takes places on stage and in a large pool. Don't miss out on this show! more

Expensive, but worth it 8/16/2005

The Bellagio is one of the finest hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. The rooms are luxurious, and every bathroom has a giant tub! Everything about the Bellagio is luxurious: the lobby with its glass sculpture ceiling, the spa, and the buffet to name a few. The room service menu is also excellent, especially the desserts. more
