I was recently fired from Bella Vista Apartments and I have plenty to say about this company. I really don't care what all the other people had to say I have been employed at Bella Vista since Aug 2010, of which, I was never late to work, written up, given a warning for ever doing anything wrong and I was let go on my daughters birthday! All I was told by my best friend of whom I told this place would be amazing to work for (boy was I wrong) is Sandy doesn't think I fit in with Bella Vista!!! I was acting manager for 3 weeks while our manager was being used at another property in Austin and Bella Vista ran smoothly with not one problem . While she was gone I did not take a lunch break at all for three weeks nor did I get paid overtime or take days off to make up for the time. I was a team player and I did what I thought was right and worked my ass off!!! The reason behind me being let go was this lame excuse: Sandy said she watched the video and Brandi was with a prospect but little does that bitch know, Brandi was with previous employees of Watervue that she recently worked with....so that day I did not answer the phone I went to lunch!!!! Brandi knew I was going to lunch and she went to breakout and shut the door, so how was this my fault?
So if you are thinking of getting a job here at any of their properties you may want to run away! They do not pay their vendors and they have 3 open lawsuits against them just at Bella Vista for not paying landscapers, the trash compactor, and one other thing they have yet to pay for! The pool supplies never come on time and half the time the apartments can not be made ready due to no supplies!!!
The new special rents are crazy high and they want people to renew who are paying $650 for a one bedroom but they are raising their rents to $825 or more!!! How do they expect anyone to renew...well they do not care! It is all about Sandy making money to put in her pocket! Now Misty is the new regional who was promoted right before I started with this company and she is a hoot! Misty will never help you figure out a solution to a problem she will just talk to you like you are a dumb ass and tell you how you do not know how to do your job! She does this because she has no clue what to do her damn self! I guess when you sleep your way into a position that is the kind of response you should be expecting to receive!!! She goes out of town while her current live in jobless boyfriend watches her kids and sleeps with other random guys....goes to Corp where she tries to sleep with a man there but he had his eye on someone here!!! Thank goodness she got out of that mess while she still could! They have cameras watching but yet the people who actually do their job get let go and others keep running over them like its no big deal!
Well good luck with your life of hurting other Sandy and Misty I think you two make a wonderful team and Misty you have no right being a team leader!! How you ever got the position is a wonder to all that are employed by you! Keep drinking and sleeping your way to the top! I will make sure everyone knows how bad this company is to work for and to live on one of their properties is the worst mistake I ever made!!
One great thing has come out of this venture and that is all I can say! I wish anyone would try and come between us!! Good Luck!
