Was bit nervous going to a new place especially since I planned to cut my quite long hair into a shorter easier to manage style before going to the beach. But I read the reviews and made my appt. Was able to get an appt right away. Did not have to wait and was treated great. David and his wife Sandy are a lovely talented couple. I was uncertain about getting color done mainly due to trying not to spend too much money as I already had to buy a new swimsuit, sandals, etc. But coloring myself had led to much darker ends and inconsistency. Even though I had only made appt for cut, David colored my hair as well and chose a very flattering natural looking shade. I love love love my cut and color. Wish I'd done it long ago. David listens to what you want and magically makes it happen. He is very experienced and I have got sooooo many compliments. I highly recommend David Bishop's Salon on Old Harding Pike in Bellevue. I have found my go to place for hair care and plan to try their massage and facials soon. I truly recommend this salon. more

Have you ever gone to a hairdresser and after a few months or years had to change and find a new one to get what you wanted? Well I used to be like that until I found David Bishop! I came, I visited, I stayed. I even followed David when he moved, and the new location is in a more intimate setting with lots more parking available. David is a Master Stylist and gives incredible hair-cuts. Although I love my natural platinum grey hair color, I have seen his work with colors and perms and he does a great job and is very particular. His wife Sandy works besides David and they make sure everyone feels welcomed, they listen to you when you describe what type of service or cut you want, and they follow through on their promises. This is a full service spa, and Sandy gives the best massages ever!! David and Sandy know the meaning of Southern Hospitality and they will give you the special treatment that makes you feel like you are their most important customer! David is an excellent stylist. He is very knowledgeable and talented when it comes to hair cuts and color..He has worked on my hair for years...I keep going back to him mainly because he does a great job with my hair but more importantly he has a big heart. I have a son who has downsyndrome and I brought him with me to Davids salon one day..David immediately asked him how he was etc...He was so accepting and loving toward Dustin that it really touched my heart:) I knew David had a good good heart, but that day I knew I wanted him to do my hair and my friends and family's hair not only because of his talent but because of his concern for others..Another huge asset to coming to David's salon is that you can have multiple things taken care of with just one stop..Sandy, David's wife is a wonderful massage therapist. As a new resident in Nashville and having total trust in my former stylist of 20+ years from where I moved, I have been too scared to make the change. So, I made two 6-hr. drive roundtrips home to get my hair cut in the first six months I've lived here. In researching things to do in Nashville, I accidentally found David Bishop Salon. I've learned to trust my intuition over the years and had a positive feeling when I clicked on the map to find their location. Reading the positive reviews, as well as finding out they are located only 3 blocks from where I live, I decided to make an appointment. Very friendly! Listen to the Customer! Great home hair care advice! Definitely experienced! Cut was done to fit my specific face shape! My eyes popped when I saw myself in the mirror after David had finished AND I wasn't wearing any makeup. I can't wait until I go out in public and wear makeup to see how they will really pop.
