I went to this bar and felt very insulted by the bartender there. He was bald, and possibly insecure as a result. I was wearing a skirt and it was a cool night. The only seats available were right next to the door, so I asked the bartender if he could shut the door. He did, but in doing so, he commented that ""it is September,"" and ""Why don't I try wearing pants.""
After his rude comment about my choice of dress, I felt like leaving, because I felt insulted, but I decided to let it go.
Then, when I ordered and showed him my ID, he said that an out of state ID was not acceptable. I am from Savannah, GA, but I am a native of NY. This is the first time someone has given me a problem and not accepted my ID. I thought to myself, ""this can't be legal.""
It sounds like regional discrimination to me, but I will hold off on pressing charges until I find out more. Until then, I would not recommend ordering drinks from this place, as they seem to have a morally corrupt agenda.
