I've been going to Bella Bella for about a year now after trying more expensive salons in the area like Calista Grande and Texxtures. I really like my stylist, Michelle. She listens to what i would like for my hair, makes suggestions without being pushy, and has always given me a great cut and color. My stylist is amazing! 3/26/2008

I have been going to this salon for almost 2 years and I love it! It's one of the few places I have been that there is no pressure...just relaxation. Michelle highlights and cuts my hair and it always looks great and I am always changing my look. It is nice to be in a place that you see change in. Everyone is always changing their looks and I think that it helps clients feel more comfortable taking risks with color or bangs and what not that they wouldn't have thought of on their own. The best part is the price. This is a high end salon and you get quality results without quantity in money, if you know what I mean. Try Bella Bella, not to be confused with ""Bella"" or ""Bella Mia."" The girls are wonderful and the results are even better! more

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! 3/26/2008

I am new to the area and desperately needed to get my hair cut and colored. My hair is so difficult so I had really been putting it off. After doing city search, I went in and was greeted by very friendly faces. I was offered a glass of wine and a magazine and then my stylist brought me to her chair. She really took time to talk to me and understand exactly what I wanted. I couldn't have asked for a better style. I got a new style and highlights and even a lesson on how to style my new 'do. I never had so many compliments on any style and it is soooo easy! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a fresh new look at a great price. Pros: close to home Cons: parking more

Bella Bella is the best! 3/26/2008

I am a new member to this website and wanted to leave a review for my favorite salon that I have been going to for over 3 years. All the staff is wonderful, friendly and professional-it's like visiting my girlfriends when I go for an appt. The Jens (3 of them)...have all done some type of process-haircut, color, makeup...and there is so many services, facials and waxing still to try. Each time I was completely impressed and very pleased with the results. My hair and makeup was done by Jen Winters for my wedding I have never felt /looked more beautiful in my life. They're miracle workers and they're some of the best in their industry. They have a fantastic variety of product lines to choose from for haircare. I have sent friends and family who were never disappointed. They have wine/coffee/cookies and great conversation. Salon is relaxing and clean. Parking is lot parking and free which in downtown west chester is a gem. more

Never again, big mistake 3/2/2008

I have never been treated so bad in a salon before in my life. My daughter and I went in for a trim and color. What did not go wrong? Our appointment was behind 45min, since she turned the woman 's in front us hair green. I requested someone else at the desk and was told they do not work that way, just wait a half hour more or come back someother day. Well we waited and my daughters hair turned out like nothing I have ever seen before, she will have it fixed in State College when she goes back to school. My hair is now fried, wrong color and still have the split ends I request removed. I thought hair cuttery and laspina were bad, but this shop takes the cake. They need to clean, train their employees and get some customer service. Our bill was so high and the service was so bad. Stay way from the chopshop. And I think I am being nice and easy on them at this point after our unfriendly visit. Cons: EVERYTHING more

Fun, Friendly and Professional Salon........ 7/6/2007

I checked out the other reviews about Bella Bella and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I just got my hair colored, foiled and cut by Lauren and I am thrilled. The price was great and everyone there was very friendly. When I got home my husband loved my look. I will definitely be back. more

Upon arrival at Bella Bella you are greeted with warmth and a friendly smile. I always leave with a satifying feeling that my stylist has listened to my needs and ideas before performing any services. Try it Once and You Love it! 2/6/2006

I've been going to the salon for almost a year. Each visit has been great! The staff is friendly and coffee is served around the clock. As you walk in the door there is always someone there to greet you and offering to hang up your jacket. The shampoos are relaxing and can put your mind at ease. The stylist always listens to how you would like your hair to look and provides great recommendations on keeping your hair healthy. The facials are rejuvenating and make you feel like a new person when finished. The best part, the prices are excellent for the West Chester area! Hope you make it in sometime to share in my experiences.... Pros: Close to downtown, Affordable, Plenty of Parking more

not impressed 1/26/2006

I guess others had a better experience than I did. It started with the stylists all standing around while I was getting my hair done and talking, I felt my stylist was paying more attention to them then to my hair. I ended up with a few highlights in the front that where ""uneven"". Another stylist offered to wash my hair and I had to tell her she missed all the conditoner left at the nape of my neck, by the time I was done I was soaked. The overall place was dull and needs works plus I think the sylists could stand to dress a little nicer for the price. I wish I had a better experience because overall everyone seemed nice, it just needs some work. more

Not only do they do amazing work with color and sheers (I LOVE MY HAIR!!), but they make appointments a lot of fun, as well. When you are there, they treat you as though you are the ONLY client there--that's how personalized the service is. I also never leave there without a smile on my face--their staff is so full of life and fun stories. If you are looking for a salon in West Chester, GO TO BELLA BELLA! You won't find a better place around--and the prices are ridiculously low for the quality of work they do. CALL THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! Therapy! 9/10/2005

I love Bella Bella! I could be having a rough day and then I walk into Bella Bella for my appt. and I immediately have a smile on my face. I am always welcomed by name. Celeste is not only my hairstylist but has become a friend. Jen Winters gives great facials. I leave Bella Bella feeling refreshed and counting the days until my next appointment. I've been coming to Bella Bella since it opened and always enjoy the time I spend there. Jen and her entire staff are all friendly, welcoming, and make every visit a fun experience. The atmosphere is warm and beautiful. Jen Winters is my stylist and she's terrific! I'm constantly receiving compliments on my hair and am always happy to recommend her. Her facials are fantastic!! I have been a regular at Bella Bella Since inception and recommend it highly. The Salon is elegantly designed in a classical Romanesue theme.
