Bella Angel Imaging

We went in and Brenda was very pleasant and sweet. She told us within 10mins it was a girl. We were over joyed! Towards the end of the ultrasound she said she wasn't quite sure and we had to come back. Came back and turns out baby is a boy. We brought our kids with the 2nd time around and she was rude to our kids and very crabby during the 7 min ultrasound. Very very disappointed! I would never recommend going to her, I wish I had done a little more research before hand. The only positive I have is that her facility was nice and cozy....thats about it. more

Watching my niece in womb at Bella was the most amazing experience I have ever had! The studio was warm and family friendly. The pictures were unbelievable details and we got a DVD! Coolest thing ever! Thank you Bella Angel Imaging! I will send every one I know to see you! more

I went here with both of my babies. Brenda made it so fun! She was correct on the gender with both of them. We got the best pictures and video. I've shown many people, and they've all been impressed. My parents, sister, daughter and friends came to share this special experience with my husband and I, and they all loved the family atmosphere. BEST PLACE EVER! I recommend it to everyone! more

The staff at Bella Angel are very personable and are just as excited about your pregnancy as you are. We went at 16 weeks the first time and were told that we were having a boy and if they were incorrect that we would get a free session. Well, sure enough, they were incorrect so when I called to set up for another session I assumed it would be free. I did not get it free but it was still at a discounted price so I still went ahead with the session. That was a little disappointing but I didn't mind because I got to see my baby again. I have recommended Bella Angel to many friends and a few have gone. If I were to have any more children I will definately go back but I really hope that they don't keep promising free sessions to people if they aren't going to follow through with it. My husband and I went to Bella at 15 weeks with baby #3. It was great being able to see our baby so clearly at such an early age. Brenda told us with almost 100% certainty that the baby is a boy. She then said ""If I'm wrong, I'll give you a free session."" Well, she was wrong and we were excited to have a free session so we made the appointment and were sure to tell them we were scheduling our free session. \r \r When we got there, we wanted to confirm that the session was in fact free. She started yelling saying she would NEVER promise a free session and then said ""Sometimes I joke around and say I will do a free session"". We had other members of our family there to share our experience and every one of them was dissapointed. \r \r First, she could not make out a single body part (and I'm 32 weeks). She was trying to point out a shoulder and my husband said it looks like a face, and she said ""oh yeah you might be right"". \r \r She was loud and obnoxious the entire time; yelling at our baby and the other children that were there to watch. I was extremely upset and I have a feeling she was just saying she could make out any body parts because she didnt want to do the free session. I will NEVER go back to her ever again. It was the most unpleasant thing I have ever experienced. more

We went to Bella Angel when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was anxious to find out the gender and didn't want to wait until I was 20 weeks, so I called Bella when I was 15 weeks along and asked if it was possible to determine gender that soon. They told me they'd give it a try and to come on in, and I was able to make an appointment that same day (which was great because I was too excited to wait). I went in a couple of hours later, and we started our scan and within 10 minutes we were told: GIRL! She said she wasn't 100% sure because the baby was still very small since I was only 15 weeks along, but her guess was a girl. And she was right! I came back two more times throughout the pregnancy for more ultrasounds so that I could see my baby girl growing inside of me. It's truly a priceless experience, and I would recommend it to anyone. Bella Angel's studio is also SO cute and comfy too, and they give you tons of free baby gifts! :)\r \r Here's my advice to anyone considering a 3D/4D ultrasound... This is not a medical thing. They are not doctors. They are not there to diagnose anything, or to make sure everything looks good and healthy. They can't answer any medical questions you may have, and that's fine because that is not what they are there for. You have an OB for that. This is ONLY for fun! It's such a wonderful experience, especially for the dads-to-be, and any siblings-to-be as well! As long as you go into this remembering it's only for fun, and you are excited to see your baby, you will have a wonderful experience. If my husband and I have another baby, we will definitely be back at Bella!! :)\r more

Here is what our main concerns are:\r - At the beginning of our appointment Brenda (person doing the ultrasound, not a licensed sonographer or medical person) said she thought she saw 2 babies. Since I am 18 weeks along I should know if I am having twins.\r - She also commented that if we showed the DVD to a doctor they might tell us that she was showing us pictures of the armpit, not crotch area.\r - One minute she'd say she thought she saw a penis, or wait was that bone? Then she'd say girl. Our almost 4 year-old was with and was as confused as we were!\r After the fact we did some research and now more than ever I wish we had looked into what we were doing. Bottom line, no doctor is going to recommend a non-medical elective ultrasound. Especially since physicians don't typically recommend a drug or service that the FDA warns people about. The use of ultrasound imaging devices for producing fetal keepsake videos is viewed as an unapproved use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). That is a direct quote from the FDA website which clearly states that they are aware that there are some entrepreneurs that are commercializing ultrasonic imaging of fetuses by making keepsake videos and that these facilities should be AVOIDED!\r I called Bella to discuss a few issues we had during our visit and she was not receptive nor responsive to my concern. I would have liked a partial refund which she refused. Basically Brenda stated that she was trying to run a small business and wasn't giving anyone a refund, she couldn't afford it. Great, good customer service. I have no idea where Bella got their equipment, who calibrates it or ensures it is operating properly. I spent a lot of money for grainy unclear images and then found out that the idea of a keepsake ultrasound is nothing but a bad idea. I feel so strongly about this that after I post this review I will also send a Facebook message to more than 500 people. Avoid this gimmick and give yourself one less thing to worry about. more

There are a lot of glowing reviews regarding Bella Angel Imaging on the internet, unfortunately I did not have the same experience. I arrived on time, but still ended up being rushed through. During the session the person who was doing the ultrasound was not able to give us her full attention and left the room a few times to attend to other customers. My son asked questions about the ultrasound but though her website says that she is knowledgeable she did not offer much new information for him. The pictures that I received were not close to the clarity that you find on the website and the package that I bought should have included an 8X10, but the proprietor did not provide this to me even after I inquired about it. I guess I was hoping for a few good pictures arranged on an 8X10 that I could frame for the baby's room. If she would have taken a little more time and concentration, the quality of the product would have been better. She had the opportunity to select better pictures from the ones she recorded but did not take the time to do so. I am not going to feel good about showing the dvd or the pictures to anyone. My husband said he thought I got the bad service because I had paid for part of the $180 package with a gift certificate I had been given.
