Food was good, but the staff obviously is only concerned with money not customer satisfaction. We were having a quiet meal. The staff sat two ladies next to us. They slammed their cups on the table and talked at the top of their voices. I quietly asked them to hold down the noise, they got louder. All the time the staff watched and did nothing. I asked for the staff to move the ladies and the staff couldn't understand the problem. When i got upset, they asked me to be quiet and the ladies continued to get nosier and nosier and the staff, not even once asked the ladies to be quiet. Not a good place if you want a peaceful meal. My family and I will never go back!! more

We were seated quickly and service was prompt - young blokes like ourselves took our order. Of course I ordered the GHP with 3 eggs over easy and Rye toast. Get the Rye toast - so tasty. My buddy ordered his with French Toast which he said is just plain awesome tasty goodness. I shall have to try that next time.\r \r 10-15 minutes later our orders arrive and everything came correct - no mistakes. Always good to get what you ordered. more

I really liked this place, it felt very homey to me, the portion size was great for the price. The garbage hash was VERY filling, seriously! If you are starving, get the garbage hash, and don't let the name throw you off. It is seriously good stuff! more

This place is great, it's open 24 hours a day! I've been going here since I was a little kid. I normally order the belgium waffle (extra crispy) or the garbage hash, with a cup of hot chocolate. more

You'll always find friendly service here. A little wait on Sunday mornings but well worth it. Be warned it has that family diner style, but you'll always leave full. Coffee is always recharged often...waitresses from other tables don't mind filling you up.\r \r My favs are the omlets served with a side of hash potatoes, and 4 slices of marbled rye bread. Another favorite is the ""Garbage Hash"" which is a mound of hash potatoes piled in with mushrooms, green peppers, ham, bacon, and did I mention chesse? Yum! more

Well, we've been here a few times now. Foods good, especially the garbage hash, but just to warn you it's usually crowded. Most times the service has been pretty fast. When it's been really busy it's a little slow getting your order, but it still gets out to you pretty quick. Their waffles are also really good and my husband loves their omelets. more

I have driven past this place for years, but never went there until this morning. I was definitely surprised and pleased by what I found there. \r \r The food is the standard 'diner fare', but much higher quality. The prices are affordable, the wait staff was nice and the layout is comfortable. \r \r I got the breakfast burrito and could only eat half of it. So be advised that the portions are HUGE. You will definitely walk out with leftovers, even if you are a hearty eater. \r \r Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a good, local restaurant with tons of choices. more

I LOVE the Belgian Waffle. I've been going here for years, since high school. Easy when it's right across the street from Hillcrest.\r \r I have no idea what the whole menu is like, because I only order the omelettes. They are massive, covered in cheese, and served with a side of hash browns that they will also cover with cheese if you ask (and you should!) more

I used to eat there all the time. Until one time we were waiting for our food and we hear a big crash in the kitchen. When I got my food, my eggs had a broken piece of plate in them!!! One can only assume my eggs were quickly picked up off the floor and delivered to me still nice and hot. Needless to say I have never eaten there since. Good Luck if you choose this place!!!!!!!!! more

So I'm a big fan of the Garbage Hash Plate (*here on out referred to as GHP) found at many local diners. It's just my kind of dish since I love savory breakfast food - eggs, hash browns, sausage, ham, eggs, onions, peppers, mushrooms and cheeeeeze! Load that up with salt, pepper and a splash of Cholula - straight up good grub. Nuff Said. more
