I came online to see if Beleza (I was desperately hoping my old nail tech was still there) was still open now that I have moved back to Huntsville & upon searching I found these reviews & I must say the one written my whom I am assuming is the owner kept me from calling. Wow how incredibly sad when an owner is so unprofessional. I must say the business was never an amazing place to go but my nail tech made it worth while & when I needed a haircut it was Amanda who cut my hair & she was always professional and sweet and gave me a haircut that was amazing, what I wanted & everyone I knew always loved it. Its hard for me to believe she couldnt meet standards when she far exceeded mine & those of my friends that I referred to her. But I must say thank you to the author of this response because it made me realize not to waste my time because I would never go to a business with this much hostility no matter who was doing nails. more

As a Self proclaimed "Spa Junkie" I have very much enjoyed being welcomed into this warm environment. My experience with Beleza began about three years ago on my birthday. I have always enjoyed walking through the seemingly normal strip mall door into a place that feels like home. There have recently been some changes in faces, and it seems to keep improving the atmosphere and mood. The faces of the employees are warm and kind and all are quite down to earth. I have had many questions about products and services and most have been answered well and with much patience ,I'm sure. I have enjoyed having my hair treatments, and the Spa is always pleasant. I recently had the newest massage and facial, and both were very impressive! I don't feel like I leave with unanswered questions, and have never had inadequate services. There's nothing like visiting this escape after a long project is finished or even a hard day. It will forever be a must on my to-do list. Walking into Beleza is a joy. The atmosphere is mellow and inviting. The staff is extremely nice and I have noticed, they usually greet you by name. I have always found that the staff are very down to earth and I have never felt like they were snobby. I have never had a better haircut than the cuts I have had at Beleza. The stylists are not only up on the latest styles, they help to guide you towards a style that is suitable for you and instruct you how to acheive the look at home. Every time I get a new cut someone asks me where I went to get that style. I have recomended Beleza to at least 10 of my friends - many are now loyal customers. I have been a customer for 4 years and have watched the spa side of the business grow leaps and bounds. I was so excited this past Christmas to receive a gift certificate to a spa only to find out it wasn't to Beleza. I went to the other spa and was shocked at the prices of the services. Beleza has wonderful services and packages at really great prices especially compared to some other places in town. Finally, I was very surprised to read 2 negative reviews about Beleza, especially since the comments about the staff are so opposite to the many experiences that I have had in the past. As for the building, don't judge a book by it's cover. It is in a plain complex that houses other stores however, when you walk through the doors you are surrounded by beauty and peace. I for one would much rather pay for exceptional service than flashy signage. Don't even bother. This is the worst excuse for an "AVEDA" salon and laughable at best spa that i have ever experienced. The hairstylists are mediocre on their great days and the spa technicians are self rightous and condescending. There is an air of exclusivity when you walk into the dump that they no right to possess. I found several things to be misrepresented and followed up with dishonesty. Pros: i didn't have to pay for it Cons: bad environment, attitude from staff and owners, poor service more

I will start with my first impression. The guy making my appointment was rude and abrupt. I couldnt find the place so i called to let them know and find my way there again the guy on the phone was rude and obviously annoyed that i was lost. When i arrived i found the business in a run down strip mall with unmowed grass next to it. also in the building next to it is a goodwill and to me that doesn't say upscale to me. the facial i received was neither good nor worth the money.
