I took my two dogs to Dr. Robinett and at first I thought the service was great and she seemed to take really good care of them. Then I saw the bill and it was very expensive. She also recommended other services that weren't going to be done on that day. I called later and politely asked the receptionist if those other services were really necessary or if we could pass on getting them done. She told me she would ask and get back to me. I got a call back on my voice mail saying that they were recommended and if we didn't want to go with her recommendations that we should take our business elsewhere. I was really shocked at the response since I wasn't angry or upset about the services being done, I was just asking if they were really needed and if it had to be done right away (after all the bill was well over $500). After getting the call I talked with a veterinary friend that I know in the east bay and went over my bill with her. She thought the bill was very high, that we were charged a very high price (about double to what they charge), and that a lot of the things they did were unnecessary. Needless to say I told them we would take our business elsewhere and I recommend other people do the same.
