Fabulous 2/27/2011

We had lunch on a Saturday and with a body building competition at the Convention Center meant the restaurant was very busy. We were waited on promptly. We ordered ribs and they were delicious. The full rack was enough for two and we split an order. The service was friendly and very good. more

food mediocre terrible attitude from staff 2/11/2011

The service was not that great and the staff looked at us like we had three heads because we came there with kids. It was our first time visiting the cafe. We have three children and they were very well behaved. The food was not worth at all what they were charging. I ordered their tortilla soup and a tilapia sandwich. It was a plain (NO SEASONING) tilapia, grilled. It was thrown on two pieces of wheat bread with a sliced tomato and lettuce. I had to request a sauce to give it some sort of flavor. That alone was $10. I was so relieved to leave that place. Fortunately, we had a gift certificate to offset the cost of four meals. I read the bad reviews and thought, ""well, let's give it a try since we have the certificate."" NEVER again will we return to that cafe. I really don't see why anyone would return for a second visit. They must stay in business because of the hotel only. Sad place. more

Terrible Service, Better Food at Wendys 6/2/2009

I have honestly never had more terrible service than at this place! I have been here several times but last night will be my last! This place charges as if it were a 4-star restaurant yet they throw our silverware in a pile on the table, make you ask 4 times for a glass of water, and make you wait a half hour for a drink. We were seated for 45+ minutes before we even received drinks. I kept telling myself that the food was worth it BUT NO! I was definitely mistaken. $15 for a salad that came on the same size plate as my friend's side salad (Wendy's and McDonald's salads are bigger AND tastier). If you want ""gourmet"" skinny pizza, cook a Tostinos at home because their pizza is nothing more! Pros: Location Cons: Service! Food Portions, Price more

Waste of Time 7/15/2007

I was looking for a nice, semi-formal restaurant with outdoor dining in Northern Kentucky; instead, I found the Behle Street Cafe. Parking was inconvenient, and my date and I were seated on the periphery of the restaurant - we did not even feel like legitimate patrons of the place! The service was mediocre at best. We received silverware at the last minute, and our table was barely frequented by the waitress: we had no refills offered and had to flag the server down to pay the bill. Best Cafe 1/15/2004

Service has always been good and the food wonderful. I like the radish dish at the bar in place of nuts and their spinach salad is the absolute best I have ever had. Pros: convenient parking, no long wait, wonderful food Cons: a little small more

Location is everything. 11/6/2002

Put this place up or down stream. Sooner or later it could be in the stream. Decent food, but bring your wallet to counter the ever changing prices that seem to only rise. And for the heads up, call ahead to find out who's expediting your food. If Tommy is. 90mins. from sit down. Sure it will be scalding hot, but who cares then. Especially when you waited 90mins. to sit down. ""What's that, my pork chops are free.""""I guess I'm pleased."" more

Nice Patio 8/13/2002

Great place to dine outside. Nice patio tables and chairs, even the heated lights for when it gets a little colder out. Special mention to the Patio at Pasta Al Dente! Pros: Nice Patio Cons: Pay to park, Wait for tables, Not Many Menu choices more

Great staff and wow food 7/24/2002

I love going to this restaurant. I am a Cincinnati native and often have a craving for this place. I am not a regular by any means but the owner and the wonderful staff make you feel like it when you walk in the door. It is not rare for the owner to buy a round of drinks for customers. They really make you feel good. And so does the food. I am very concious of what I eat. The menue even consits of fat free items! I can't say enough about this great little place! It is the best. Happy to tell all. more

The restaurant s menu includes a selection of salads, appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, entrees and desserts. It offers a variety of seafood items, such as shrimp, tuna, calamari and crabs. Its children s menu features quesadillas, nachos, spaghetti and fried chicken strips. Behle Street Caf also organizes several events that include musical programs, wine festivals and theme shows.
