Beers of The World

On my travels, I have come across only a few beer specialty stores that deserve a mark of perfection, and this one is conveniently located right in Rochester. Beers of the World offers an unbelievable selection of beers from all over the world and I was able to find even obscure brews from countries of the former Soviet Union. Perhaps even more impressively, the store prides itself in stocking an unmatched selection of American microbrews. Here, you can find legendary beers from California, Oregon and Pennsylvania, not to mention the various New York microbreweries that you read about in magazines. Additionally, the store will often put certain beers on sale, making it more affordable to stock up on some hard-to-find items. For anyone who truly enjoys beer, this store is a must-visit. more

This local gem of a store is dedicated to one thing, exclusively: beer. Wine and spirits lovers may find a trinket here and there for their pleasure, beer lovers and connoisseurs, however, may find themselves close to heaven. The store carries an unmatched selection of brews, with beers representing even countries most people have never heard of, like Latvia or Montenegro. More importantly, for the real lover of the sacred hops concoctions, Beers of the World specializes in offering exotic brews, like smoked beer from Bavaria or any number of legendary Belgian creations. In short, for an amateur of beer, this store is a place of wonder. The fantastic selection of foreign beers and US microbrews necessitates a higher price than the local grocery store. Excellent and quick customer service. Grreat if you need to stop by and pick something up fast. True to their name, they will surprise you with the vast numbers of the beers from different parts of the world. Their selection never siezes to amaze you, they will take pride in their selection and make you feel at home when it comes to choosing most kinds of liquour. This is the place when you want a beer that you absolutely love, but one that isn't necessarily sold at your local supermarket. They have hundreds of types of beer, from hundreds of different breweries. They carry any beer that you could possibly want. They also sell mugs, taps, and kegs. The customer service is outstanding, and there is always a clerk to help if you need assistance with anything. There is plenty of parking, and it is located just off of 390. more

Beers of the World is a fantastic Beer store. Located right off of 590 they are easy to get to and have plenty of parking. They have the biggest selection of beer from all over the world. I went there to buy a specific beer my grandfather used to drink when he visited Germany. I was a little skeptical that they would have it but believe it or not they did. My husband also enjoys the store because he can buy all the beers he has had on his various travels. If you are not sure you want to head out there to see if they have something, call, they are so helpful! more
