Beehive Self Storage

Ok let's be honest here. Everyone will have their up's and down's with any business. To state that these people have a ""gross"" or ""disgusting"" place based on factors beyond their control is despicable. Here is what I think: I rented a storage unit here in Aug of 09. I moved to California via plane. My ENTIRE life was stored at Beehive. Like many people, I was afraid that when I returned my clothes, beds, and other pieces of furniture would be ruined. Water damage or bugs or something. When i returned my items weren't even dirty! They were virtually exactly the same condition that I put them in the unit. Dry clean and bug free. So before you judge over one simple incident. Read these reviews and as the management questions as well. Be INFORMED not HATEFUL. Thank you beehive for taking such good care of my stuff! more

In response to review posted 11/09/09, ""disgusting"": We have computerized gate access, requiring a specific gate code to access our facility from 6am - 10pm. Our gate access has multiple cameras recording to monitor or review who has entered. If a tenant approached another customer inside the facility or acted inappropriately, they would be removed and/or evicted. We have pest control treatments multiple times a year around the perimeter of the facility, every unit door and awnings to prevent insects and rodents. The only rodent problems we have had over our 37 years open were caused by tenants storing food/perishable items. Anyone can easily access this facility, I had homless people begging me for money one the INSIDE!!! The so called ""secure"" storage facility has broken glass, mice, spiders, and mold EVERWHERE!!! GIVE GOOD THOUGHT INTO WHERE YOU RENT BECAUSE THIS PLACE IS TRASH! Pros: nice office Cons: terrible atmosphere more

I rented with these guys for close to 5 years. I started with one of their biggest spots and then moved into a smaller one once I bought my house. I had no real complaints about these guys. They were great Pros: very friendly Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

If you store anything here, you might as well just take it directly to the landfill. They don't take care of their units. They have water damage and rodents like you can't believe. This is the worst place you could possible think of storing anything. It is trashy and disgusting. Cons: units are not maintained more

I had a heated unit here. I was keeping some old antiques in there that needed to be kept from getting too cold or too hot or having anything leak into them. They had a unit that comfortably fit all my antiques and kept them at close to room temperature i think. Anyway, they took good care of my things. And the security was great! the gate is only open until 10 so no one can get in after hours. the manager lives there up above the office so when i needed him he was available. It's just nice knowing that precious things are in good hands. Pros: Security and service more
