we bought 4 pieces of furniture, one of which came slightly damaged when we received it but not significant enough to deal with reordering another piece and another piece which was a bed with drawers underneath to fit in a small master bedroom. a little after a year after the purchase, the screws came off a piece of the drawer underneath the bed causing us to pull the drawer piece out from under the bed where we found that the drawer had a staple sticking out of the bottom of the furniture piece (in the complete opposite direction of the other 20 staples holding together the drawer) which as a result had been doing significant damage to our hardwood floor for the past year. when bringing this to the attention of the GM at the Bedroom Store, they said they weren't responsible and it couldn't be proven that the furniture caused the problem which any one with a grade school education could see upon examining the piece that it was due to negligence in constructing the furniture. ironically, when we had a piece of furniture from Value City scratch our floor because it was missing a leg piece, they came out right away no questions asked and replaced the furniture and fixed the floor. Spent $1500 at the Bedroom Store for poorly constructed furniture and terrible customer service and it will be the last dollar i ever spend there.... Pros: null Cons: null more

We were looking for a natural latex mattress but the one we were sold turned out to be 100% polyurethane foam, so we complained, paid an extra $200 for another one we were assured was latex. That one turned out to be 70% PU foam. And this after telling the salesman that PU foam would make me ill as I am very sensitive to certain chemicals. Now, we have two PU foam mattresses that they can't pick up for several days, our house stinks like rotten cabbage from the PU off-gassing and we have to go mattress hunting again more

They have many locations in the St. Louis area so no matter where you live there is probably one near you to visit. They have a great selection and pretty decent prices. The sales staff is also very friendly and not pushy at all. They do not hover around you like some furniture store salespeople. Definitely check them out if you are in the market for bedroom furniture, mattresses, and other furniture items. more

While shopping for a new mattress I found The Bedroom Store to have the largest selection to pick from. When I purchased my mattress they had free delivery and I did not have to pay until it arrived. more
