Beaver Lake

Recently took the kids to Beaver Lake just outside of Springfield Ohio. Had the best time. Lake is well stocked. People are friendly. Most important the kids and I had a great time. We caught several fish and 1 even paid a bit cause they have jackpots. we have already planned a trip back for later this month. Phill --- Dayton Ohio more

This is a very poorly maintained lake. it has all kinds of goos and other foul feces all over the place. There are nails and pallet screws from the overnight burning all over the ground. There is no place to use a restroom.\r \r When we were there rightfully enough it was during the middle of the day but no-one and I mean no-one got so much as a tip, nip, nibble, etc. during the six hours or so we stayed. We just couldn't bring ourselves to stay the other six.\r \r I say that the signs around and in the book of it being Ohios best stocked lake are balogna!!!!\r \r Don't fish here unless you want to have a horrible experience. The rating of one star as shown is not what I wish to rate it, I would rate it a negative five if I could. more
