We have been taking our Shih tzu maltese (Mylo) to Cherry for 9 years and the service is excellent. The attention to detail this groomer offers can only be found from someone that truly cares. We would never go anywhere else and I would recommend Beauty in The Beast highly to anyone that wants a happy and healthy dog. more

I could just copy and past the review that Chris A. recently posted because I would say the same thing. Bringing my dog, (Misty) to Beauty and the Beast has been a very positive experience. Misty has separation anxiety and I was also told by another groomer, (Pet Smart), that I couldn't bring her back unless I tranquilized her. Cherry is a very professional, hard working business woman. She and her staff are kind, courteous, efficient, and are huge dog lovers! Best of all, they know how to handle any dog! Thanks Cherry; I'm so glad my mother told me about you! more

Would never go anywhere else. Have had my dog groomed there for 13 years. Previously went to someone off Gallup where he was mistreated and told that he needed to be tranquilized to be groomed. Have gone to Beauty in the Beast ever since and now send my puppy to her also. Cherry is Great and the dogs love to go!! more

I made an appt they didnt have a record of it and they said I was never there before even though I brought both my pets there! Found a better groomer off of Gallup rd, make better customer service.!! more

I just moved to Rochester and hadn't found a groomer yet. A lady at the dog park told me about Beauty in the Beast. I took my dog there, worried that he would have to be shaved since he had gotten matted pretty bad in a few places. They did and amazing job on my dog. He looked great, they couldn't have done a better job. It didnt take all day like other groomers I had been to. They listened to me about what I wanted done and gave me suggestions about what to do in the future. Will continue to go back! more

I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else for grooming. Cherry and Sheryle truly care about the dogs who come to them, our much loved pets, and it shows. They operate an open and friendly shop and certainly have the skills and experience in grooming. My dog was very nervous of other dogs and new people when he first started going to Beauty in the Beast. Now all I have to do is ask if he would like to go see Cherry and Sheryle and he can't wait to get in the car! There's no better endorsement than that. more

My beautiful shih tzu, Twinkle Toes Bitsy Petunia, has been groomed at Beauty in the Beast since she was born in 2001, the same year Cherry opened her business. Twink was groomed in the classic 'show' style for 5 years and always looked gorgeous. 2 years ago we went to a modified puppy cut, which is also beautiful and fitting for my 'tomboy' dog. Cherry has impressive professional credentials (she groomed show dogs in California in the past). Her love for animals is immediately obvious and in addition to the superior grooming, she looks at 'the whole dog' and monitors for conditions that may require veterinary attention. She brushes Twinks teeth as well. The shop is neat and clean and Cherry maintains her schedule very carefully. She is assisted by her mother, Sherry, who does much of the shampooing and brushing with the same gentleness and thoroughness as Cherry. Cherry is also a good teacher and has taught me the 'in between' care necessary for this breed. When I take Twink for her regular appointment, I also take a friend's shih tzu, Muffin. Muffin is much smaller that Twink, but is quite a behavioral challenge (Twink's perfect, of course). Patience is the key with this lovable little monster. They've got it, and Muffin exits looking like a different dog. Pros: Total care with love. more

My dog was sent to Beaty & the Beast because our previous groomer said he was a difficult dog and said he should be tranquilized. Not a problem with Cherry. They are fabulous. My dog always looks great and loves to go to see his friends. I recommend Beauty & the Beast to everyone and already have. Pros: My dog loves to go to the groomer. Great cut everytime. Cons: A bit far for me to drive, but will always take my dog there more
