My aunt, sister, daughter, and I all love Dora! Every time I leave from getting a trim I receive compliments on my hair. In addition to how great she cuts my curls, she is a wonderfully sweet and kind person. the salon is very child-friendly, too. My four-year-old really enjoys every visit and would go more often if she could. more

Dora is the best! She has done cut and color on my hair for 7 years, and I always get compliments when I leave the salon. She also cuts my daughter's curly hair, and my daughter will only allow Dora to style her hair, making an appointment every time she visits from her out-of-state college. Dora's prices are very reasonable, and she is a sweetheart of a lady. more

I had been seeing Elizabeth as my stylist since 1999 and was disappointed when she took a hiatus from styling a couple of years ago. I was ecstatic when I saw that she had returned to hairstyling at the Beauty Emporium--I hadn't been able to find anyone else in Austin that got my color just right or my layers to fall just how I like :) Since I started seeing her again in October, my hair is as cute as it ever was. She's a great listener and always tailors my style exactly to my preference. Elizabeth is also a dear friend, professional and caring, pleasant to be with while getting my hair done. I can't recommend her highly enough! more

I have been going to Beauty Emporium since it opened on Bee Caves and Hwy 71. Sally has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for close to 20 years. I have been with her almost as long as my husband and am as committed to her as him! ha ha She is very talented and gifted at the art of hair. She has cut my hair in a style that was 2 inches long and also dealt with it when it was half way to my butt and permed. I've been blonde, brown and am now a beautiful red. I am complimented often on my beautiful hair. Not only do I get great hair cuts etc, the boutique is fabulous. I buy all of my GloMineral makeup and skin care from there. I also have been known to buy a cute necklace or pair of sunglasses from time to time. I buy gifts for family and friends there all the time and everyone loves what I find. The staff is friendly and kind. It's like going to your local hang out and being with friends. I'm so thankful for this great business!! more

Sally has been cutting my hair for more than 20 years and she does it fabulously! Before I met Sally, I had more than my fair share of bad haircuts--I have thick hair with some crazy cowlicks and nobody could cut it look like Sally does. When Sally was booked up and I was in desperate need of a cut, I tried other places and always had to have Sally fix the mess they made of my hair. Sally is amazing and I won't let anyone else cut my hair! more

A friend suggested I see Sally at Beauty Emporium & Salon over 2 years ago and that was one of the best recommendations I've ever received. I have very thick, not really curly-not really straight, fast growing hair that Sally cuts with precision each time. She always gives me a cut that grows out well with my type of hair. Nature would have me almost fully gray now, but Sally mixes up a gorgeous reddish-auburn color that I just love. I can honestly say I have never received as many compliments about my hair as I have in the last couple of years! The other thing I really appreciate is that I do not ever feel pressured to buy product or book my next appointment. They know I won’t stay away long because I love how pampered I feel at the Beauty Emporium & Salon. more

Sally has been my stylist for over 24 years and I wouldn't go to anyone else! I am VERY picky about who does my hair and she has always done a terrific job and knows how to match color to my skin tone and make it look natural; she also knows what color not to use and what cuts look good and what cuts don't look good on me. \r \r This shop has a retail line like no other. They carry top of the line products that very few salons in the Austin area do such as Enjoy and Aquage. If your a swimmer, they carry the Malibu line which is EXCELLENT for colored hair! \r \r I highly, highly recommend this salon if you really care about your hair. I drive 30 miles each way and wouldn't go anywhere else! more

I have been going to Sally for 26 years to have my very curly hair cut. She absolutely knows what she is doing! She is also highly skilled in coloring as well! This place has it all, from clothing to make-up and hair products. Everyone there is extremely professional. Sally now cuts the hair of my 5 and 2 year old boys! It is really like a family there! more

The staff here are the best professionals around. Sally has been my stylist for over 10 years. She used to be in Austin and I gladly drive out to Bee Cave to get my hair done. She is very accommodating with her schedule and even met me there on Sunday (her day off) when I couldn't get there Saturday. She and the whole staff are more like friends and make you feel like family. They also sell all the professional products you need. Well worth the nice drive out there! more
