Small place, the owner is very helpful when you try on dresses... they have a limited number of dresses (probably 50) but a good place to look if you are trying to get an idea of the STYLE you like- as she lets you try on as many as you like...HOWEVER, I found my gown there...I ordered it and paid for it... and then 5 days later I got a call from her that said, ""Sorry-we cant order it, go to Mariella's"". No explanation, just the check sent back to us. I had the style number and was able to go to the competitor and get RE-MEASURED and RE-ORDER the dress, but it was really stressful and frustrating that I thought my dress was all set and then I get a call with NO explanation, only, ""Go there and get it instead"". I wouldnt go back... but again, if you are newly looking, its a good place to try on things and get an idea of what works for you...but I would NEVER buy there again. more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!! Once they have your money they could care less about you. They promised a dress ready for today (we made an appointment) and they did not have it ready for us. They had forgetton about us and the appointment. They also did not make a jacket for my mom (the mother of the bride) that she had already paid $125 for. Instead she got too large pieces of fabric and the sample that my mom wanted the jacket based upon was sold! It's a family business, but they don't treat you like family at all. DO NOT GO TO BEAUTIFUL BRIDE IN PLAINVILLE CT!!! Pros: poor service, dress not ready when promised, no phone call to notify, snotty attitudes more
