Best fried chicken, hands down... 11/11/2005

Okay - you are put at a table with about 8-10 other people and then they start bringing gigantic platters of food. The fried chicken is absolutely wonderful and I could make a meal of just the chicken, alone. The masked potatoes and veggies are all fresh and there is no way you will be walking away hungry. This is a great place to bring a big group and the lines on Sunday are really long. more

Fun and Country 10/21/2005

What a great place. They have been around for a while and still have everything on a lazy susan. If you have a small group with you you may be eating with others. They have very large round tables and they squeeze as many there together even if you don't know them. I guess they figure you will by the time you are finished twirling the lazy susan for a second helping of the fried chicken or mashed potatoes. you want good country cooking....stop here. more
