BEST CAMPGROUND in PA 2/6/2012

THE BEST CAMPGROUND In PA!!! Our family visits Bear Run every summer without fail. They have so much to do; hayrides, horse back riding, basketball, games, hayrides, heated pool, canoe rentals, playgrounds, tons of kids. I love riding my bike around the campground and on the trails. We go to the beach at Lake Arthur while we're there. This year we will stay during the Regatta amd they offer hot air balloon rides! Everyone is super nice! If you have kids, they will have so much fun there! more

Best Vacation Spot in PA 2/5/2012

We camp at Bear Run every year. Sometimes in tents and we have also rented cabins. The scenery is so pretty from all of the campground. The crickets and sounds of laughter fill the evenings. I love to wake up early and take a walk and watch the sunrise, it's gorgeous. The owners are the sweetest people you will ever meet. They have a store, canoe rentals, heated pool, games, horseback riding, hayrides, bunches of trails, basketball, tons to do. We love to shop at the antique shops nearby. Cant wait to go fishing! LOVE Bear Run! more

Nice scenery 11/11/2005

Our campsite was not level and very rocky. The grounds are pretty and very clean. Water pressure was almost non existent in the main bathrooms and at our site. Friendly staff and safe environment. Lots of activities schedule for the family. We did a hayride and mountain pie bake off. Nice mix of permanent sites and non. The pool is nice and clean. They have a lot of playground equipment for kids. There is a big pirate ship for the kids to climb on and enjoy. PROS: Beautiful property, very clean CONS: Low water pressure more
