Recommend the chicken salad 6/24/2007

My sister and I had a day planned at the Fusion Spa right next door to the cafe. It was a surprise for her and I told her we should stop to eat at the cafe. I thought it was just a deli but the breakfast menu was sitting on the table when were seated. It looked fabulous but we really wanted a light lunch. We asked for lunch menus and we ordered the Chicken salad served over tomato stars over a bed of greens. It was the best chicken salad I have ever had and the perfect lunch before our pampering at the Fusion Salon next door. The waitresses were very good. I can't wait to go back again and go for the breakfast, my favorite meal of the day. Great overall food, service and menu. They had some seating outside but it seemed full when we got there so sat inside. Pros: Great menus, service, food quality Cons: N/A more

Excellent Breakfast 6/1/2007

I ran upon this place by accident when i was looking for a caribou. Very good breakfast , love the hashbrowns, and coffee! Great service with a mom and pop atmosphere. Only downfall is sitting space. Pros: Great Breakfast and Coffee Cons: Sitting space is limited more

The breakfast and lunches served at Beanhaven are wonderful - creative,tasty and a real bang for your buck. I spend at great deal of time in NYC and no place in NYC has as good a breakfast or as great value as Beanhaven. That goes for lunch also. If you want to have a company lunch - your guests will be impressed I guarantee it. The coffee is absolutely the BEST!!! No coffee shop in the Twin Cities can equal the quality!! If coming for breakfast (which is offered ALL DAY LONG) try Jim's potatoes--you will NOT be disappointed! Soups are all made from scratch and are YUMMY! Beanhaven has switched to waiting on tables at all times now and they have a very friendly staff. It's a friendly neighborhood! Pros: TASTY FOOD!!!, Moderately priced, Quiet setting Cons: only brkfast & lunch, tight parking lot more

Beanhaven Cafe is a friendly, neighborhood hangout with mouth watering egg bagel sandwiches that melt in your mouth! Jim's Wake-up Bagel has spicy cheese and a special spicy Italian ham chopped thin all nestled on warm eggs! I dream about this sandwich!
