This is a great store that offers a wide variety of beads and all the other things you need to create beautiful and unique jewelry pieces. There are beads for every price range including some appropriate for children just starting out in beading. They even offer classes to teach you how to make different projects and have a party room to host those special parties. The employees are always right there to lend a hand or just give advice if needed. This is a great place for mothers and daughters, sisters and friends to spend a few hours being creative and just enjoying each other's company. more

Create your own Jewelry 7/14/2005

This hobby store located in downtown Hastings provides one with the opportunity to be creative and produce your own "One of a Kind" Jewelry. You can tell the clerk what you have in mind and you will be assisted with the equipment you need. You can then choose your beads and CREATE. If you do not like the initial results, you can modify or start over! When you are satisfied and complete the project, you then pay based upon the supplies you have used. It is a fun way to spend some time and have a beautiful reminder. more

Another fun place to make your own thing! 6/29/2005

This is a store where you can make your own beadwork items. You can make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. You pick the beads, including the color, size and shape. They'll help you and show you how to do basic beading work. They help you with creativity and ideas if you're having trouble. They also offer scented candles and other gifty type items for sale. It's a great place to spend an afternoon with a friend or family member, chatting and making something. But watch what beads you pick. A 16 necklace could be inexpensive or could cost you $50 if you go for the more expensive beads. more
