Beads & Beyond

This is the best bead store I've ever been into. I don't live in the area anymore but I would spend the money just to go back. Very helpful staff and Kathy the owner is tops. They have a big selection and lots of guest trunk sales so you always get a good variety. They stay in front of trends. I just love this store. more

My biggest issue with Beads and Beyond is how easy it is to spend a LOT of money - there's so much that's worth buying, it's tough to keep my purchases to a reasonable amount. While I prefer to get my findings elsewhere in bulk a little less expensively, they have here a fairly complete selection, which is great if I just want to make a single stop or need anything last-minute. They also offer some fabulous classes - far more than I really have time to take but it's nice to know they're there. When I have attended classes, I've learned some terrific new techniques and had plenty of time too to work on projects using my new skills. The instructors are knowledgeable and can quite regularly offer important information you didn't even know you wanted but that makes a huge difference anyway in your approach to beadwork. more

This is where I go when I want to find just the right Czech glass bead, or a specific Swarovski crystal. They have loads and loads of them and it's really helpful when you are looking for the perfect shade or shape. They also have tons of buttons and tools. It's really very large for a bead store. I haven't tried any of their classes, but they offer several. more

You could be in this store all day, looking at beads! They have so much to choose from and they are displayed on tables, so they are easy to see. I thought their prices were pretty good. They have a small kids area for your little ones. They are very helpful and friendly if you don't know what you are doing. If you need it - they surely will have it here. more

Beads & Beyond has a great selection of beads in all forms and shapes, inlcuding semi-precious stones such as pearls, lapis, and amber. Beads are divided according to similarity, and there are also a number of beautiful charms and different clasp types to choose from. Beads & Beyond also has classes you can take in a variety of beading techniques, and they have books as well. The store can be pretty busy on the weekends, but if your spouse or kids find the store dull, right across the street is the lovely Bellevue Downtown Park, and you can park here in a pinch if need be. more
