We are online! www.beadshop.com 650 386-6962 3/23/2011

Please try us online! We offer free shipping on any size order and with our free youtube videos and great project ideas, we think you'll be happy...maybe it's not the same as walking into the "light-flooded store", but we're happily sharing our creativity and ideas with jewelry makers at all levels. more

Not much 9/24/2006

I wanted to try out The Bead Shop because I've only been to one other bead store, but I wasn't excited. Most of their beads seemed expensive (probably they just chose higher quality beads, but there were no more inexpensive options). They didn't have the supplies I was looking for, so I ended up just walking out. Luckily it's not my local Bead Store, so I don't have to go back. more

Great selection, but a bit pricey 11/3/2005

The Bead Shop was in business and successful before beading was "in". They've always had a fabulous selection and great service, but the prices are high, especially on simple things like findings and seed beads. While you can find those cheaper in other stores you will not find the selection that the Bead Shop has. more

Beautiful and organized 8/12/2005

Even if you're not interested in the art of beading, walking into this shop may induce a sudden interest in this popular hobby. The light flooding through the large windows makes every bead in the store sparkle, and there are many displays of handmade jewelry and broaches, which are very effective at inspiring future jewelry-makers in ways to use the beads they purchase. The place is slightly crowded, especially when classes on how to create jewelry are being held in the back room. If you like beading, you'll enjoy the organization and large selection of the products here. more

A visual feast 8/12/2005

This place is well lighted and spacious (the better to show off the merchandise, I suppose). They have a large variety of beads and other jewelry making tools. I love the way the beads are displayed. They are grouped by material and then by color. The shop also offers jewelry making classes and finished pieces for sale. more
