As those we also learned that some individuals does not like it and try to push it down with bad words of mouth very unjustified. If read some of the reviews it is clear and this is what for the place works actually. Sleek, modern, clean, good service and awsome food from the freshest. Yes it is a destination place but where you have to go for any good experience. Sit on the east terrace over the ocean waves and even watching the moonrise, or by daylight watching the surfers and windsurfers as well as beach lovers. Have a saturday night with the live music or even a late night with night club disco and the exceptional LED light computerized over the whole place. Never be disappointed meet the effort these guys are bringing up to satisfy focused on your needs. Fish with rented rod on the pier and bring the freshest fish ever to them, they will cook is as whole or part for you. You choose the starch and pay same price. The menu is for all day lunch and dinner and so it seams to be overprized in lunch time. Instead they offer lunch specials much more economic and dinner specials same. We compared the prizes to others in the area and the lunch offers as well as dinner offers are more valuable as the competition. Don't trust those bad reviews try it you won't be disappointed either. We should have known from the list of ""rules"" taped to the register that the dining experience we were about to have was going to be something to remember. Rule #1. Opening times are approximate. Rule #2 Reservations are under consideration and in sole discretion unless prepaid or credit card information is given. Rule#3 Seating is determined by the Host... which brings us to the second problem (the first being they did not write down our party's reservation.) The rudeness of the owner/host is something out of a low budget French film... surliness does not even begin to describe his demeanor. Problem three, the food - some dishes contained ingredients not listed on the menu, other dishes were passed off as entirely different species altogether - none of them would be considered tasty enough to brave the frigid environment parlayed by the maitre'd. \r \r While our table of 8 found humor in the situation, nothing was funny about the way they treated a newly married bride and her wedding party. This establishment reneged on their previously agreed arrangement and were so horrible to them that the party of 40 left, leaving the new bride without a venue to celebrate her nuptuals. \r \r Complaints to the owner fell on deaf ears as his response was a snide ""eh"".\r \r Unless you truly dislike the people you are bringing there, I would not recommend visiting this establishment. I have tried contacting this place for several weeks now to get information about having my wedding rehersal dinner there. Each time I call, I get some rude person who just tells me ""to come in to discuss."" He wouldn't even email me their pricing - which, in my opinion, is very strange. We are trying to find a great place on the beach, which I am discovering is very difficult to do here in Broward County. Anyone out there have any suggestions? more

I recently attended a private party on the patio. After reading the reviews on line, I was a bit skeptical as what to expect and a bit nervous that everything would go wrong. After all, everbody is entitled to their opinion. However, the reviews in this column are pretty accurate with regards to food quality, service and management. $51 per person was a bit pricy for the quality of the food and service. At any event I have ever attended, usually everybody is served and eating within a reasonable amount of time. The first table was served and done eating before half the guests were even served. They need to make some changes and organize this service a little bit better. The Chicken in lemon sauce over linguini was extremly dry and very bland. Had no taste at all. Forget about ordering a salad with a choice of dressing because it just isn't happening. The steak and potatoes were cold by the time it came to the table. A guest heard somebody inside asking for a napkin and was told by management they didn't have any napkins. Are you kidding me? The only thing that made this party fly was the FANTASTIC DJ we hired for the party. Would recommend him for any occassion. He made the party and helped you forget how lousy the food and service really were. After all this being said, I would not recommend this place to anybody. If you want a view of the ocean and something to eat, bring a couple of chairs and a cooler of food, beverages and a radio, sit on the beach and enjoy yourself. I am local in Dania, and I was so excited to hear they were rebuilding the pier and opening a "" Beautiful"" resturant on the pier. My Friends and I went there one day on lunch about a month after it opened. We decided to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the "" Breathtaking view"". We waited about 15 minutes till finally the server came out and offered us drinks. As I glanced over the menu I noticed they offered a nice variety of foods to choose from, and although I thought the prices were a little high for lunch. I took into consideration that resturants like these love to take advantage of their customers', buy selling the BREATHTAKING VIEW. So, we ordered our food, and my Grilled chicken and avacado wrap, was delicious even though they neglected to put in the avacado. I did not get mad I said to myself they are new and are bound to make mistakes at the begining. So my friends and I went back there recently and I have vowed from this day on I will never go back there again, not only was the service, and appreance of the place horrible, but when I brought it to the owners attention not only did he treat me like I was a idiot, but he did not care and basically told me I could take my business somewhere else. I was appalled by this treatment. I've never experience such lack of consideration as a customer, and for him to not take any responsibilty for the errors that were made, and to basically make it seem like my expectations were set to high. So my question is this, at what point do you decide if a over priced meal and being treated like an alien is worth the naturally beautiful breathtaking view of Dania beach. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would not encourage anyone to spend a time of there hard earned money at this place. Its such a shame to because I love Dania, and if your from there you know its a easy going little city and to have such snobery and robbery in our city is disgusting. I'm with Broward. I normally don't write reviews however my experience at this restaurant was so terrible I thought other should be spared. The service is ok and the food isnt great. The catalyst in this case was the terribly rude owners/ management. The staff can't even stand to be in their presence. My experience was so tense and uncomfortable you can't even enjoy that you are sitting on a beautiful patio overlooking the ocean. I would suggest sit on the beach and eat at Dania Beach grill. If you are looking for a reliable place to have an enjoyable meal choose somewhere else. If you are looking for a breathtaking view with unpleasant company, than this may very well be your place. I made reservations 3 months in advance for a birthday party. When I went to test the food it was okay left something to be desired however the location was nice. When I called to confirm everything a day before the party I was surprised with everything being incorrect. TIMES, SEATING LOCATION you name it. The review says not kid friendly how about they are not human friendly. The owners of the restaurant are rude, not accomodating and definitely do not create a pleasant dining experience. Food was substandard and did not include all ingredients listed on the menu. Recommended by a friend I visited Beach Watch Restaurant on mother's day for brunch. It was packed, brunch buffet great with oysters, shrimps and salmon. We had a table on the East patio the ocean waves underneath. They said, it is since January open, short time but they handled the crowed very well. Real food, real desserts as chocolade cake, tiramizu, cheese cake, fruit plates varieties. They had a separate carving and omelette station, in no time ready. A nice place to go antime and casual. Don't waste your money or your time. The view is magnificant but you can't move because of the limited space. The maitre d' could be one of the most unpleasant people in the restaurant. i was looking for a place to eat, somewhere different for a change. i found this on ciry search on my cell phone.. i saw the bad review but decieded to try anyway ... since they were new i figured that was just because they may have been a little unorganized. \r \r yes my wife and i had a great dinner. wish we could have seen the ocean at night, lighting will come they say. we had a great dinner and the food was very nice. sunday was a lazy morning, we wanted brunch and the beach .. so guess what, we went back.. the sunday brunch was great. food was fresh, nothing fried and lots of homemade stuff. since they are so new, no HOT CHOCOLATE OR EXPRESSO yet but the coffee was good and strong. \r \r very recomended. the new guys need a break. they have some live music, and its gonna be a great hang out .. jack sparrow will be there too... thats me .. enjoy Pros: a different experience. try the sunday brunch or go early for a great view Cons: new but they say they are adding new stuff all the time more

We were there February of 2007, wanted a nice place to eat and see the ocean, the only thing nice was the view. The food was average, the trash I had to look at while eating my dinner was disgusting. I was sitting towards the kitchen area and watched the dishwasher doing dishes, there was a partial partition from the floor to his waist and right at the floor is where an accumulation of trash was sitting. The lights over the tables are multicolored and change as you are eating, I couldnt hardly see what color my food was, no wonder it wasnt that great either. Will never go back, it was nasty.
