The Beach has a few slides that are fun for a little while, but that is about it. One is a speed slide, that is over in just a few seconds. I would reccomend that you make sure to come when the place is not so busy. There is not enough slides here when the place is packed with people and you will be waiting all day. The food here is also a rip off. It is a better idea to bring your own. more

the beach is a lot of fun. they have 2 waterslides. one of them is called the speed slide and i love that one!! the wave pool is fun. its especially fun when you rent a raft. they have good food. i love their cheese balls!!! it costs less than 10 bucks to get in. more

Not worth the price 8/11/2005

While the Beach Ottumwa boasts fun water attractions it is way too expensive for the average family to attend regularly. Admission is around $6 if you don't use the water slides, around $9 if you do use them. A typical family of 4 and it would cost around $36 for each trip to the Beach. Not very affordable for most familes in Ottumwa. more
