They say seeing is beliving welllll then lets get started. I worked there and it is not what you think. The food is not even close to what they say it is, I was asked many times to go in the kitchen and show and tell his help how to prepare the food we all know (Don Peppe's) where it all started. Since the answer was no, well this is why we are here now I think, 1st they would , and still have not payed me my last to pay ck's which I have copys and will post soon alone with other photos of the clam chowder want a be white clam sauce????? people beware..... So now that the Labor Board had to get involed let the real Boss there Carlos handle this mess. imagine they can't give me my pay ck's for a meslly $200. 00 if that ??? lolo but say they get food from NY mmm??? okkkkkkkkkkkkkk lolol yea right!!!! well if he needs to keep my 2 pay ck's cause i left well then let him feed his little rats with it he need sit more looks like get real food, and wear gloves in the kitchen its open people see like us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\r

We went for lunch, and it was eerie because we were the only people there. Bartender doubled as waitress. Wine by the glass is grossly overpriced (cheap wine for $11 per glass). Caesar salad was fresh and delicious. Bread was good. Linguine & clam sauce had big inedible chowder clams, far too tough to chew. Veal Parmesan with spaghetti was good. Manager wss yelling on the phone at the bar, and we thought about leaving because of this classlessness. He eventually shut up. They were playing nice music in the background. Bill was presented (error in their favor....charged $12 a glass for the already overpriced house wine). something is missing. We dine out almost nightly; we won't return here.
