I'm a intermediate level quilter and in my early thirties. I love to quilt, spend lots of my money and time on this. I was excited to check out Bayside quilting. I was there aprox 30 min, not once did someone ask me if I needed help, when I approached one of the 4 or so workers to ask for something specific ""no"" was the only response in a scoffing rude manor, no offer of additional help. Not one worker looked at me in the eye. When I was clearly looking at something I was approached ""are you ready to check out?"" was what I was met with, I wasn't but sensed my business was not appreciated. I asked if they carried universal needles the person checking out my items asked another worker standing next to her. ""quilting needles are microtex sharp, we don't have universal needles (humph!) "" this was said in a very -your a moron for asking that you must not know what your doing tone. I am clean cut and friendly I never have felt like this leaving a store before. It is disappointing too, they have a great batting and fabric selection, at average quilting shop prices, I will not however be going back. .
