Mine was a very life-changing experience. A solid foundation for my sobriety was but a by-product of the thorough psycho-therapeutic program. A good place to get your life straightened out. 5/4/2011

Bayside Marin was a life changing experience. I was doing some very destructive things to myself and my family before I went to treatment. The environment and support was able to give me the freedom from my old life, and get away from the friends who were a bad influence. It wasn't easy, and it still is hard sometimes, but Bayside helped me, help myself. more

This treatment center has been open for about six years, the past two it is owned by CRC Health Corp. When CRC bought it, many changes were made and a transition ensued. What remains is a committed staff of professionals who truly offer an individualized program for each client. No cookie-cutter treatment here. The Doc is a certified addiction specialist, there's a psychiatrist, 24-hour staff, licensed therapists, acupuncturist, physical therapist, massage therapist, Qigong, Yoga and Tai Chi instructors and a three-year aftercare program. Pros: Strong clinical staff, therapy-based, three years aftrercare Cons: Can be costly, not all insurance pays for treatment here more

EXCELLENT DRUG & ALCOHOL TREATMENT 12/28/2009

I was a patient at Bayside for 30 days and really at a place in my life where things had to change. The approach at Bayside was excellent...they touch on all aspects of your life. The past, present and most importantly how to get the most out of your future! I have just celebrated my 5th month of sobriety and even though it's definitley work every day and sometimes ever hour or minute, I feel I have the tools to tackle the issues that arise.   • Bayside Marin is a treatment center located in San Rafael, California. At our center, we treat adults who are struggling with alcohol and/or drug addiction, as well as dual diagnosis. Some of the most common types of substance abuse we treat include heroin, cocaine, meth, and prescription painkillers. We also focus on providing care for those battling anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). At Bayside Marin, we provide detox services, as well as intensive outpatient treatment. Through these programs, we supply a number of therapeutic interventions to help move the process of recovery along.
