Awkward buying experience. 5/17/2013

I've been coming into Bay Savers for years. It gets pretty busy sometimes, but the staff of this family-owned business get it right when it comes to fair value and service. Pros: Interesting layout, reasonable selection, fair premiums over spot (purchasing) Cons: awkward buying experience, percieved customer disinterest, focus on higher-dollar exchanges more

glad I stopped by 12/5/2010

I bought some gold bullion at baysavers and I got what I paid for. I thought that my service was adequate as I was only asking for bullion and not a performance. really that's all I'm asking for in a gold buying experience is competent help, and that's what I got. more

I can see where the previous is reviewer is coming from, but in fairness to James he has a lot going on at once. I have always found him to be pleasant and always willing to carry on a conversation about coins, bullion or whatever. His prices are more than fair and when and if you sell back to him he is always fair. He may come across as being gruff sometimes, but that's just James. What you see is what you get. more
