I am not sure if my review went through the first time. I recommend this facility and its staff without any hesitation. Usually the best business is through the word of mouth so I am stating this: This facility has helped my son since he was at the age of 4. Yes some individuals would say, hey oh he is in the terrible 2-3 stage..but those who do not know my son, you would say that. Jordan was diagnosed with ADHD/impulsive disorder. I did not know about this part of the impulsiveness but as they explained I realized hey They finally pin pointed on the nose. My son a loving child can not control himself, he trys but eventually he will do what ever when ever it takes control of him. he loved fire, starting the car and simple things would trigger him to do impulsive things. From watching a movie or looking at a candle. This facility and its staff has been there for him at school, they visit home and he goes to a age specific group session once a week. Then he follows up with a doctors apointment. They see him as a whole individual. They also deal with family intervention to help and teach all who is involved with the child. Parents you know there are Doctors who perscribe a narcotic and really doesn't see the child just listens to what you say and writes the medicine on the tablet, I know I have seen it with my daughter she has ADD. I liked when bayou rapides followed up and did not treat my son as cattle.( meaning your in the room then your out the room) you sepend more time in the waiting room than you do with the Doctor. This facility and staff again treats your child in everypossible way you could imagine. There was a time I went grocery shopping and had to stop it short becasue my son acted up so bad and started to scream. I took him straight to Jodi and Jodi informed me to call him where ever and when ever I need them. Finally I had somethere to help me not judge me with wispers or stares. Call/ visit them you will see what I am talking about.
Pros: treat children as a whole not cattle
Cons: nothing
