My wife brought in a pair of sandals to get repaired. The owner went on a 20 minute spiel about how he is the best in town and cares about his customers more than anyone else in the business.
So, upon getting home with her fixed sandal she notices that the sandal that was fixed is much, much looser than the non-repaired one and doesn't fit. Very kindly, she returned to the store to show him her shoe. Of course the man said it had nothing to do with him and that her shoe must have magically stretched before he handled it.
Nonetheless, avoid Bayou Belts. Their prices are fair and he says he can fix anything, but the workmanship is extremely subpar. Avoid and find a quality craftsman.
Pros: cheap
Cons: Lack of craftmanship, not willing to back up work
