Bayles Landing

Was highly recommended by the locals. Is an old riverside restaurant. Don't be put off by the appearance and area. The servers are great and the food is really good Cajun/seafood. The atmosphere inside is lacking but the view from the rear deck is wonderful. Pros: Great food, catfish, crawfish, gator. Cons: Needs colder beer more

Well, it was a fun place. If I was going to have a couple beers with friend, then I might go back. As to the food, I've had better fried crawfish at Popeye's. The best item I had was the fried pickles. Too expensive by at least 25%. I should have gone with the motel clerk's recommendation for Mohawk Tavern. more

My husband I love to eat at Bayle's. Boudinballs, stuffed shrimp, Po-Boys, it's all good. We recently tried the bread pudding made with peaches instead of raisins and it was oh so scrumptious! We were a group of 8 that came into the restaurant for a nice poboy. The prices were so outrageous for them and were the highest of all the restaurants we have ever been to. Not only was the price high, but they added on a 15% tip without even telling us about it. When we finally got our food a half hour later, everything was cold. The waitress' name was Sumner, and Miss Sumner never smiled was never polite. She would answer our questions as she walked by if she even bothered to answer us at all. We have tried to call them several times to complain over the past weeks at different times of the day, but conveniently the manager, Jill, has never been in her office. It was our worst experience ever, and we wanted to make everyone aware of how horrible this supposed #1 rated restaurant is. Pros: None Cons: Service, Food, Management more

This Restaurant is awsome. It has the best Filet in town. Its food is full of New Orleans Flavor. The Bourbon Street Punch was the best drink I have ever had. I will be going back soon. The crawfish had the best flavor I have ever had. Thanks Pros: Very Reasonable, Awsome Servers, Great Music more

I loved dinning with my family on the Ouachitia River. It was a peaceful and fun family experience. The steak I ordered blackend was great. My wife ordered the crawfish and loved them.
