Bayard's Chocolates

I love Bayard's. It is the BEST candy i have ever had....better than Godiva and way less expensive, stop in soon and try! Especially the Pennsauken location on the corner of Park and Haddonfield Berlin Road, that is where the factory is and the ladies in the store are simply delightful! more

Bayard's Chocolates is a family-owned operation with three locations in the Southern NJ area (Pennsauken, Cherry Hill and Cinnaminson). Operated by the Kelly family for years, their chocolate factories are staffed by "little old ladies" that know how to do it right. I know, I worked there in the 80s and many of the staffers had already been employed there for years. You'll depart t their stores with bag under arm saying, "They still make it like they used to" -- and, that's a good thing. My favorites are the dark chocolate-covered fruit and nut collection but, there's something for everyone from milk and white chocolate to dietetic chocolate, chocolate-covered pretzels (a South Jersey favorite) and salt water taffies. The Cinnaminson store is now serving homemade ice cream (7/05) . I enjoyed it! more
