Been here a few times, love this place for the ambiance and sort of uniqueness.. crew are friendly and its not hard to ask for small favors. Prices are okay so thats good enough for me. more

A great hangout for reading books, drinking coffee or having snacks. I see teenagers a lot so it has the appealing "young-hip" feel to it. more

Good ambience 8/21/2005

Bay Street Coffee is a popular local coffee house for those looking for a Starbucks alternative. Most of the espresso drinks are made a little sweeter here, and many people I’ve taken who swear off coffee have actually said that they like the drinks at Bay Street, so go figure. It’s a great little place to just sit and chat. more

early-closing teenage hangout 8/11/2005

Checkerboards on the tables and large windows create a relaxing atmosphere for this local hangout that is popular with the younger high school and college crowds. They can be quite anal about who loiters there though, and the people chatting at the tables need to have a receipt from their purchase to stay for long. Also, they close a bit early, so you'll have to find someplace else to talk until the wee hours of the morning. more
