AAMCO wanted $1400 from me to determine what was causing a noise and fix it, trying to use scare tactics to get me to agree to the work. Brought it to bay ridge transmissions for a second opinion, they checked it out for free, and told me it wasn't something to worry about and with my mileage, it's not worth fixing unless something gets worse, and that it should be fine to drive. Imagine a car repair shop telling you not to spend money with them rather than upselling you on unnecessary repairs. more

Class Act 4/27/2011

Great Job and honest Rick saved my Subaru from the junk yard. Subaru dealer wanted $4000 to replace my tranny with a rebuilt . Rick fixed mine for $1500 and a better warranty. Rick does only transmissions and is very proud of his work. That's the kind of guy you want fixing your tranny. I""m very happy more
