Bay Cities Pet Hospital Inc is not a good place to bring your loved pets 7/11/2009

It's all about the money. I've been bringing my pets here for years. It wasn't until recently things went bad. I brought my dog in for a small surgery. The amount they quoted wasn't even close to what they charged. They have a revolving staff of doctors. It's hard for them to keep the good ones. Pets are often misdiagnosed. My advice to you is find another vet. All they care about here is money. If you do decide to come here, be prepared to wait and wait and wait. If you do bring your pets here, I warned you. more

Dr Sullivan is great !!! 12/12/2008

The best impression of a vet in the South bay. That is Dr Sullivan. He took great care of our very sick dog, performed immediatelly a successful operation, and had a great no-nonsense approach, did not haggle about high fees and charges, presented us with reasonable payment options and also they are open 7 days a week!!! The receptionists and assistants seem a bit overworked and always busy, so be patient, and if there is a major issue or a problem, ask to talk to Dr Sullivan. more

Great for Spaying and Neutering Rabbits 12/20/2006

After receiving an outrageous quote to spay and neuter two rabbits from a vet on the Westside, I brought them to Bay Cities on a recommendation from a local rescue organization. The vet took the time to explain the procedure and how he was going to care for the rabbits both before and after the surgery. They even made a point to keep the rabbits in a different room then the dogs to prevent stress. The price was reasonable and considerably less than the other vet. Pros: Price, service, care more

This guy couldn't care less 8/8/2006

This place is a factory that processes cheap vet visits. Diagnosis takes as much time and generates as much confidence as tossing a coin. It's like triage, minus any need for being so sloppy. You can let Dobratz know you aren't on a budget, but that won't matter. You and your animal will get no service in any case. You won't be ripped off for much money, but your animal doesn't have much chance of an appropriate treatment, either. more
