If Hollywood stars shop here, I do too :) \r In their Santa Monica showroom they have a couple of high end kitchens they have done for some of the Hollywood stars and appliance I have not seen anywhere. Their high end selection is just amazing. Its just fun to walk through their showrooms. \r I was referred by my contractor and I cant thank him for his recommendation. I had gone a few different places but selection lacked, I couldn't really walk through a finished kitchen that I can fully customize. It is nice to be able to see the kitchen you will have. \r I met with their sales person and then finished with one of the owners , Mr. Joseh Hassid who respectfully walked me and my husband through the whole process and expected time. We had to meet with the team a few times to get all the details done right and we were always welcomed. \r I disagree with the ""Lady"" comment the other person left here. If you had bad day it doesn't make the service any less and doesn't change the fact that Bay Cities is a very respectable and respectful showroom. \r more

MY GO TO PLACE FOR CABINETS \r When looking for unique cabinets with quality there aren't too many placed to shop. I was sick and tired of Chinese made cabinets that didn't last long and visited Bay Cities as a recommendation of one a close girlfriend. I met with TED their cabinet designer ! he ha been doing it for over years so his wealth of knowledge was just wonderful. \r We looked at a quick a few examples, and their designs. From door to handle everything was customized with patience to my liking and we moved forward. \r My cabinets are here to stay. I just love the customized look and the AMAZING quality of my new Poggen Pohl cabinets. \r They are imported so I had to wait just a bit but well worth it. Any question I have they are quick to answer and I recommend them to everyone. more

WOW \r to start off, their showrooms are just STUNNING. Baycities has won numerous awards for their showrooms and frankly they deserve all of them. The selection of unique cabinets and appliance are great too. \r I was looking for a Subzero refrigerator and dish washer and from the time I walked in I was greeted warmly. I was quickly in and out as they knew exactly what I needed and they had it in stuck . Delivery and installation was next day. They called to make sure everything had gone well and were very nice and it was a pleasure working with them. more

Exceptional Customer Service \r Joseph and his team are one of the most amazing, respectful, helpful and knowledgeable professionals in their field. Finding and buying high end appliance is not as easy as going to best buy and picking up anything on sale. You will need to deal with people who can guide you to the right direction. \r When I was remodeling my kitchen any question I had was a phone call away. My sales person spent a few hours with me really learning my needs, wants and vision and everything he recommended was top notch. I cant brag enough about my kitchen. \r At the end check out and pricing was just breeze. Joseph dug out all the rebates he could to help me out with the pricing. more

I agree that Joseph is rude!!! I tried to speak to someone else, but they told me that was impossible. He also called me ""lady"" throughout the conversation. He yelled at me non-stop and was unwilling to listen to me. My problem was that the built-in dishwasher I purchased didn't fit. They sent two different installers. The second one, banged at it for hours. Then they told me they would have to cut a piece of my kitchen floor to get it in. I agreed, but that didn't help either. They finally took the dishwasher away full of dents. But now Joseph says that I own it, since I ordered it. I don't even know where it is, and frankly, I'm not even sure it was new to begin with. It came without a box, and I noticed there was a dent on the side before they even started banging on it. I told the installer, but he told me that once it was installed, I wouldn't even be able to see it. Anyhow, they simply aren't very professional, and frankly that Joseph scares me. DON'T SHOP THERE!!! They are nice as long as they take your money, but if you have any problems, watch out!!! They are not nice people. more

Both of their new showrooms are a gorgeous. I have never seen one quite like the one on Burton Way. My architect referred me to them to buy appliances for our home remodel. Visiting their showrooms had me completely overhaul our design plans. I ended up happily buying a full Sub-Zero Wolf set of appliances and Miele dishwasher. We also had them design our kitchen cabinets -- Woodmode. more

I bought a high end washer/dryer from theis store last week. It completely broke on the very first test run in our house> We spoke with the sales rep Mars who said they could take it back and we could buy a new model, however the owner wanted to speak to us first. The owner, Joseph, was so rude, referring to my wife as ""lady"" and telling us to get a lawyer when all we wanted was to purchase a washer/dryer of equal or better value. He was so insulting and hung up on us. He called his workers and told them not to take the unit back and now we are stuck with a washer/dryer that doesn't work. more

My husband and I have been buying our appliances at Bay Cties Appliances for many years. The service is excellent, and so are the products,and we would never go anywhere else , they're the best! We're going to be talking to them soon about getting a new stove top, and 2 built-in ovens for our townhouse,although the seller just before we bought our place put in new stuff, but we don't like what he put in, so we'll be changing it very shortly and getting what we like from Bay Cities Appliances, the only good Appliance store around. more

Don't be fooled by their pleasant manner when purchasing. If something goes wrong, the salesman misrepresents the product, you are not happy for any reason, prepare to be yelled at, accused of lying, and hung up on are asked to leave the store. Pros: local Cons: rude, dishonest, disrespectful more
