We just finished restoring a 19th Century Mora grandfather clock that had fallen flat on its face. After the 1989 earthquake we restored 13 grandfather clock cases. Since then, we now offer attaching tall pieces of furniture and furnishings to your walls. We also recently took in a severely burned family heirloom chest and made a new side, carved a new barley twist column, made a missing shelf, we made new turned knobs, recarved the badly burned feet and drawer faces and finished the entire piece. The customer had tears in her eyes when we deliverd the item to her. See the photo below. There was a grandmother that moved to the Bay area and during her move the most precious item she had was broken into many pieces. It was a ceramic umbrella holder that her neice had taken a molded impresion of her entire face and then had the face molded onto the sides of the umbrella holder. I told her, that although the piece was severly shatered, we would take the piece to our shop and see what we could do for her. I spent many hours putting all the pieces together and making the cracks disappear. When we deliverd the stand back, this grandma was just speachless.
