Please, please, PLEASE, do not use these people! I organised a company picnic at Tilden Park and this company was on their recommended list of suppliers that we could only use. Things were moving smoothly with them until the day came for us to get what we paid for... And let me tell you, we certainly did not get anything for what we paid for! First of all, the guy delivering the bouncy castle arrived one hour late, and to top it off he dropped the generator we hired and rolled it down the hill. Needless to say, it didn't work after he had done that. So the guy then decides to leave the broken generator and deflated bouncy castle with us while he went off to get a new one. 3 hours later he turns up with... guess what... a generator that he did not know how to use. For an hour or more he had help from several guys at the picnic, who all tried their best to get this generator to work. Nope, nada. SO, he goes away again, and this time he brings back a generator that works after he finally works out how to get it turned on. Finally at 3:30pm (after waiting 5 hours) the kids had a bouncy house to bounce on... Wait, that all sounds too good to be true right? It was. The generator starts to splutter and choke after an hour... and then it dies. It still had plenty of gas, so what happened this time? We tried to revive it, but alas, it was too late, the delivery guy was back to pick up the equipment we had paid a lot to hire. We probably had a total of 45 minutes of uninterrupted use out of that thing. So first thing on Monday morning I call up Bay Area Jump to complain... they knew nothing of this incident. They said they would call back, they didn't. I call back the next day and they still know nothing, and still haven't gotten hold of their driver (seriously?), and they finally offer to reimburse me with $75.... I shall quote Hannah Montana on this one ""SAY WHAT?"". Apparently, since we got the generator to work for roughly 45 minutes out of the 8 hours we hired it for, we were only entitled to that much back... Oh yeah and to top it off the Manager of Bay Area Jump had the cheek to accuse one of the kids of breaking the bouncy house, and that she was being ""generous"" by offering that much. We did also have Sumo Suits from them which were fun, but dirty looking. However, the total amount we had to fork out for these jokers was $417, and they are only willing to give us back a measly $75.
If you are still willing to use these people after reading this, then you should go work for them.
Pros: I'll get back to you when I find one.
Cons: EVERYTHING... read on.
