Bay Area Flooring 70% Off

I'd been searching for laminate flooring and comparing prices when I came across this site. His shop was a little hard to find (he's moved to Willow Glen) but he had a great selection and he was able to beat any pricing I had found. He really knows his stuff. The showroom had different strips of hardwood and laminate laid in his actual floor to see what the different textures would look like. Definitely recommend him. more

I've been there TWICE and I'll NEVER GO BACK!! After dialing a phone #I saw advertised I talked to someone on the phone who kept talking about the quality of his floors and the great pricing and how he has so much inventory etc etc etc. So I thought, okay I'll check this place out. I went there the first time and no one was there! There were makeshift signs and a note on the door saying to call the same phone number I called. I dialed it. No one answered, so I waited outside for 30 MINUTES and the guy NEVER SHOWED UP. He never even called me back! After a few tries finally got a hold of him. He had gave every excuse and promised to meet the next morning. I only said yes because the wife was giving me a deadline to get the floors in. The next day he was 45 minutes LATE, all jittery and sweaty and i swear he was on coke. He bragged how no one has better prices but I brought up other sale prices, he dodged the questions and called it ""cheap chinese stuff"". My wife is half chinese and I thought that was a pretty wrong comment. When he found out how much floor I needed, he got more jittery and said if I pay cash, he'd give me a great deal. Things is, I'd have to wait a few days for my floors, BUT to get the deal I had to PAY CASH UP FRONT. He refused to write a receipt, and when I insisted, he said he'd sign a handwritten paper without the store name. So,HE WANTED MY $2G UP FRONT and I was supposed to leave WITHOUT A RECEIPT and believe he would show up with the floors when he doesnt answer his phone, is never open, and I'd still go home with nothing for the wife except a FAKE RECEIPT? NO WAY! To top it all off, when i got home i researched the wood floors he was showing me AND I found out they were made in China! I don't know what this guy was trying to pull, but he's definitely not an honest guy and he's running and even more dishonest business! I'm sure he would have run off with my money to get another fix! BUYERS BEWARE! Pros: i didn't wast my money here Cons: they only want your money and don't provide service or receipts! more
