Bay Area Fence has gone out of business; however, only under the old ownership. New owners are still associated with the old BAF, but they will not honor any contracts or warranty work. They are only interested in you if you are ""new business"", and even then, it is questionable whether they will deliver on your contract. Rhonda took my call concerning warranty work that was required for my installation; she promised to honor the warranty, but has never gotten back with me, and has not responded to any of my voice mails and e-mails. Furthermore, the warranty work in question (gate will not lock) was never installed properly and a continual problem -- after two fix/adjustment attempts by BAF -- from day one. After spending over 5K on a ?life time warranty contract? I now have a rubber band holding my gate closed. If you do not have money to throwaway, DO NOT USE Bay Area Fence. more

Gone out of business. Paid my $2312.50 deposit on 7/29/10 with instalation date of 08/26/2010. They never showed up. I had tried to call multiple times on 8/25/10 to confirm appt for next day, but was told Rhonda would call me back. She called me back late on 8/26/10, the installation day, after i had tried again to reach her, to say turnover in company and trying to figure out order. I asked to be released from contract. She understood and said would call me back, that was 8/26. She called me back on 8/31 to say out of business. I am now working through my credit card company to get my $2312.50 deposit back. more
