David S. is right on the money. Rude and significantly overpriced. Our fault because didn't get a detailed quote beforehand. Make sure you get an estimate and a couple of quotes if you're tempted to use Baxter. You will then be able to make your own judgements. Caveat emptor. more

If you like being charged $193.00 for a part that costs $20 retail, then you'll love these guys.\r \r If you like being lectured about the cost of running a heat & air company when you call assuming there was a mistake on the bill, then you'll like Baxter Electric.\r \r As for me, I'll never call them again! more

Don't let a bad employee speak for a whole company! I almost did and this is a good company that doesn't deserve that! I am a pregnant wife that works from home so I have to deal with many of the contractors that we hire. We used Baxter to move some piping over and I could tell that the man who was sent to our house was off from the beginning. He wouldn't make eye contact and was very awkward and rude. He got frustrated with me because I didn't know where sheet rock was going after the project was finished. I didn't see why that mattered or why it was my job to know those things so I just shook it off and left him to his work. I callled my husband and told him that the plumber had questions and I didn't have answers and that he needed some instructioin and I didn't want to have to give it. I gave the plumber my husband's number and asked him to call my husband and he could walk him through his questions. The guy made a deep sigh and said that he had to go to Lowe's to get some more equipment and he'd call him on the way. He came back about 45 minutes later and I noticed that he had moved the pipe to the wrong place before he left. I asked my husband if the plumber had called him and he said no. So I needed to tell this guy to move the pipe since he was wrapping up his work and almost done. I politely approached the guy, attepmting to kind of play dumb as to break some of the super awkward vides I was getting from the guy, and said ""You know I'm pretty sure that this pipe has to be here rather than where you put it. Did you call my husband?"". He literally rolled his eyes right in my face, got a huge attitude, snatched up his stuff from the floor, stomped through my house, flung open the front door as hard as he could, threw half of his things down in my yard and then proceeded to slam open his van and start throwing things in and out of his van. I kid you not....I felt as though I was watching a big 3 year old throw a temper tantrum. I watched him from the living room and called my husband to tell him I was beginning to get concerned. He got the company's number to call the plumber's boss and we hung up. The guy came back inside and wouldn't look at me and began audibly cussing me out under his breathe rught in front of me. I started to really get worried so I moved to a completely different part of the house and told my husband he needed to come home from work because I was no longer feeling safe with this plumber. Needless to say, he got home in record time and got the plumber out of our house. My husband was livid and decided to wait to calm down and call the company the next day to complain to the manager. However, the manager beat us to it. We got a call around 8PM from the owner himself who was horrified at what had happened. I have posted to the company's facebook about the scary plumber. He was extremely apologetic and extremely upset with the employee that we were having problems with. This manager has been running this company for a while and said he ha never seen anything like this and that it is completely unacceptable. He assured us that the plumber was no longer employed there and insisted that we allow him to refund our money and allow their plumbing department manager to come out and inspect the job to make sure it was done properly and to finish all the trimmings when the project was complete. We were so upset with this company and when we got calls from 2 managers in one night who were going above and beyond at 8PM to correct the situation, they definitely regained our trust. People, please don't let one bad employee detour you from hiring this company! They really do care about quality service and have proven that this is not how they operate. Give Baxter a chance and I am sure that you will be treated well and that the job will be done professionally. Don't let one stupid person ruin the whole company's reputation! more
