I love going to this place, there are alot of specialty items (German),especially when I go with my daughter in law who is from Germany, she can tell me what the items are and what they say,. You can also sample products, very family oriented place. The service is great. They will also ship for you. Lots of good ideas.\r Highly recommend visiting. more

World class sausages you can find 2/16/2006

Bavaria Sausage has been established in Madison for more than 50 years. From the name itself, you can guess it is related to Germany. They produce their own authentic German style sausage on the premises and have hundreds of varieties of domestic and imported cheeses. The staff is very friendly and helpful, willing to help you at any moment and butchering of meat cuts is done quickly with great care. If you're looking for a great selection of meats, sausages and cheeses, make sure you visit Bavaria! more

Great Sausage Store 9/14/2005

re you a big fan of sausage, bratwurst, etc? This is the place you want to shop at. They have huge selections of autenthic german foods, especially meats, such as sausage, bratwurst, Munich Weisswurst, Schnitzel, imported bavarian pretzels etc and other imported german foods. They also sell wisconsin cheese and other imported cheese. To top of it, they also have German deli that sell bratwurst, cold cuts, cheese and german hard rolls. The store is clean and their sales associates are friendly and willing to help. My only complain is their store hours is short, they open Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and on Saturday they only open 8 am to 1 pm. They closed on sunday. more
