Stupid me, signed up for their maintenance plan thinking my preventative maint and repairs would then be at least reasonable. During a maint check, the tech called me and recommended contactor and capacitor replacement (would cost around $400). I didn't know anything, so gave the OK. Now looking up the parts and the youtube vids on the work to replace them. The parts total about $50, tops, and the work looks like about 5-10 min per part. Keep in mind, the tech is already at my house for the planned maint visit... still charges over $700/hr for screwing in the part and attaching some leads? I will cancel my maint!
