Battleground Hospital-Animals

Through the years, we have received nothing less than superior care from Battleground Hospital for Animals. Our dogs have taken advantage of a wide variety of services there including surgery, wellness care, emergencies, nutrition and boarding. We have never been disappointed, and the prices are very competitive. We have seen all of their veterinarians, but recently it’s mostly Dr. Dawson. The facilities are clean and bright, and the staff is very professional, friendly and supportive. Their compassionate care is especially important when difficult decisions must be made. We now travel a considerable distance to the hospital, but it is worth the effort. more

I thought my dog might have a UTI so I called Battleground. I did not want to pay for an exam because she had been seen about a month ago. I expressed this to them and they told me that she would not have to have an exam and that they would just run a urinalysis. I called two more times to ask questions and clarify what I had been told and each time I called they confirmed that an exam was not required. So I drove my dog 30 min. to the vet. When I got there I gave them her urine sample and waited 15 min before the receptionist told me that they would not tell me the results until my dog had an EXAM!! I told them that I had called three times and was told that an exam was not necessary. Therefore, the let me walk out the door with a sick dog because they were desperate for money.
