Batesburg-Leesville Animal Hospital

My dog had to have an emergency c-section, and they would not hold the dog or help the dog until my husband paid for the procedure up front. He is currently going to the bank, with the dog in pain and howling, to get the money so that they will, hopefully, save the dog! IF you have any problems with your animals, be sure that you have money in hand, or they won't help until you do! I will not be taking ANY of my dogs back to these people, that is IF the dog survives!!! more

We Love you Dr. Weeks/Dr. Mader\r I was one of Dr. Weeks' first patient when my little dog Jock got into our trash and decided to eat tin foil he was so sick I rushed him to Dr. Weeks and she immediately helped me with my best friend. I held my baby while Dr. Weeks put an IV in his foot she told me she couldn't keep him because he would pine for me but for me to take him home & keep him warm & if I needed her to call her (she gave me her home phone no) she told me to bring him in the next day for her to recheck him. I went home wrapped him a blanket and rocked him for hours. The next day Mama kept me out of school to take care of my baby and I took him back to Dr. Weeks for a check up & she gave him a clean bill of health & dismissed him. Several months later he got the flu I rushed him to Dr. Weeks again she went out of her way to take care of him. \r \r My parents took their dogs (2 Japaneses Akitas) to B-L Animal Hosp & my brother & his wife take their dogs & cats there for years . more

I have taken my dogs to about all the vets at this clinic.The doctors and staff are all 1st rate and go out of their way to help.My most recent experience was with Dr. Davis and my wife and I feel fortunate to have her for our dogs recent illness.She has gone out of her way to assist our dog.I also know you can not beat their prices either.I have a friend that takes his animals to West Columbia and he pays considerably more for the same services.Also great after hours service every time we have called they would meet us up there and take care of our animals problem.We will always use this animal hospital. more

For many years our animals have been in the trusting care of Scott Mader and Rita Weeks. Many times emergency care was needed at odd hours and they were always there for us Everyone that works there is caring and friendly, you couldn't find anyone better. more

I wanted to take the time to say Thank you for your wonderful support and care of our babies. I had the pleasure of meeting almost everyone there in the past 2 days and would not go anywhere else. Everybody still smiles as the house fills up with clients and there little or big babies to be seen by the Doctors and there staff. All are caring, loving and go the extra mile not only for your baby, but the humans as well. Found out the after 2 years that my baby really does not have heart worms=) Thank you Mariance and Dr. Amanda Dubose for your warm hearts, cheerful smiles and positive support during our time of feeling so helpless with our Da'Da'. The staff and doctors at Batesburg Leesville are the best.I would not go anywhere else to have my dogs taken care of. They go out of their way to help me. DR. Mader has gone above and beyond the call of duty for my dogs.All of the doctors are very caring. The best thing I have done for my dogs is change to these Vets. more

Great first-time experience with this vet. Briana R. Davis, D.V.M. was the one to see my Gijit and she was great~everything I look for in a vet.Will continue to visit this vet. Very convenient for those in the area and the office visit is under $40. If you need a vet for your cat or dog, don't hesitate choosing this particular vet.\r \r UPDATE: MAY 4, 2011\r Staff and service are wonderful...it's their way of charging prices MORE than what is quoted that finally got me away from them. Every time I went there I ended up paying more than what I was quoted by phone. The last time was the final straw...especially when I took Gijit for her heartworm test and to get a re prescription of heartworm preventive, paid more than I was quoted ($20 more for Interceptor!) and then took her the next day to Care-A-Van to get her shots and saw I paid an office visit for nothing and overpaid for the heartworm test. I could have gotten heartworm preventative MUCH cheaper through the vet that runs Care-A-Van more

Batesburg Leesville Animal Hospital is the only animal hospital in Batesburg Leesville. BLAH has been in the same location with the same veterinarian for many years. They will be able to treat your pets just as well as a vet from any larger town. You can also have your pets boarded there and have some grooming done. more
