I haven't been to Baskin Robbins in a few years, but stopped in at this location yesterday with my daughter to get some gift certificates for my father in law for Father's Day. Of course, we had to stay to get some ice cream!
It was late afternoon when we went, but it was still pretty crowded. I didn't like the "layout" of the lines. There were two coming from each side and ending in the middle at the register. It made it very crowded at the front and difficult to get "out" once you had paid for your ice cream. They have tables inside and a few outside as well. It was pretty clean inside considering the traffic that was coming in and out. They only have one bathroom (unisex) and there was a steady line of kids waiting at the door. I didn't see a water fountain anywhere and this is the first Baskin Robbins location I've encountered that doesn't have one.
As far as ice cream goes, they have something for everyone. My favorites are the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Their hot fudge is super thick and I haven't really ever had anything that measures up to it anywhere else. A two scoop sundae is the same price as two scoops, so why not get a little something on top?? They also have "junior scoops" for kids. In addition to ice cream, they have cappuccino "blasts", breezes (fruit drinks) and shakes. You can sign up for their birthday club online (www.baskinrobbins.com) and get a discount coupon via e-mail when your birthday comes around!
In an effort to cater to kids and families, this summer, they are having special guests on Wednesdays from 2-4 p.m. to do things like face painting or balloon making.
