My two kids insisted in walking with our two tiny dogs and going to their favorite ice cream spot; Baskin Robbins located in Mainstreet in Parker.\r
Suddenly the weather dropped and got very cold almost freezing but my kids were not disappointed because we were ready to enjoy their favorite Ice cream and we were having a great time as a family.\r
My husband suggested that he could get the car (10 min walk) so we didn't have to freeze walking back with the kids and dogs. Before we decided to do that I asked one staff member at Baskin Robbins: ""Can I wait inside with my kids and dogs for my husband? He can get the car that is 10 min walk from your establishment because we are freezing"". He replied to me: ""Sure, no problem"".\r
After 3 min another staff member approched me and asked me to leave the establishment because of my dogs and that she understood that it was very cold but there was nothing she could do. \r
I walked out with my kids and dogs to wait outside in the cold and my kids were asking me: why did they change their minds and kicked us out?\r
Getting ice cream with the kids started like a positive activity as a family and suddenly we were freezing outside of our ""favorite Ice cream spot"" treated with no respect at all. WE ASKED IF IT WAS OK and they said YES...why they didn't honor their word?\r
I understand if they have a policy but I asked before deciding to wait for my husband. They changed their minds, showed no compassion and embarassed me and my kids in front of all the other customers....by far the worst experience ever.\r
Unfortunatelly we will have to find another ""favorite Ice Cream spot"".
Pros: Great Ice Cream
Cons: Rudeness of the staff, No compassion
